G Fuel in Australia: An Honest Review of its Effectiveness

G Fuel in Australia: An Honest Review of its Effectiveness

G Fuel is already available in Australia!

Gamma Labs developed G Fuel energy drink as a 100% clean, natural, and healthy alternative to sugar-laden energy beverages in the market today. They have created a tasty zero-sugar energy mix that was meant to increase energy levels while also improving attention and hydration.

You can choose from 11 delectable flavours, all of which come in three different variants: G Fuel in cans, G Fuel in powder tubs, and G Fuel in sachets. This will be an honest review, and I hope you learn more about G Fuel.

Let’s get started!

Is it safe to drink?

Yes, actually, G fuel gives pure energy that is not followed by a crash. Unlike certain energy drinks that include more than 40g of sugar, G Fuel has zero grams of sugar, preventing the severe impact you experience after consuming popular energy beverages.

You can even use it as a pre-workout supplement before you go to your training session. Usually, it takes around 10-15 minutes to kick in and provides you with a significant energy boost that lasts for approximately 4-5 hours after you finish your training session.

Overall, there are no tingles or jitters associated with this pre-workout, which makes it a good choice if you are searching for a more natural option than other high-stimulant pre-workout supplements.

Nutrients in G Fuel

More than boosting your physical and mental energy, G Fuel products are also loaded with nutrients that boost your immune system. There are three main groups of nutrients included in the drink: vitamins, antioxidants, and electrolytes.

Vitamins

Primarily, vitamins B3, B6, and B12 are included in G Fuel cans. Most energy drinks have a B vitamin complex, but G Fuel is unique because it also has vitamin C.

B vitamins (B3, B6, and B12) are all beneficial to the metabolism and give an energy boost when taken orally. On the other hand, Vitamin C promotes the absorption of iron, which is necessary for children and adolescents’ normal growth and development.

Do you know that your body cannot produce vitamins B and C? That’s why most people should get it via dietary supplementation. As noted, the daily value percentages for G Fuel are shown on the nutrition label as 25% for the vitamins B3, B6, B12, and 50% for Vitamin C.

Antioxidants

Aside from its high vitamin contents, there is also a combination of fruit and vegetable extracts that make the drink’s antioxidant component.

Essentially, these antioxidants in G Fuel inhibit oxidation and protect the cells and organs in your body to help reduce the risk of having physiological diseases. Most antioxidants contain anti-carcinogenic properties that protect against a wide variety of cancer and illnesses. This just proves that G Fuel is suitable for everyone, not just gamers.

G Fuel Energy’s antioxidant mix comes from the following sources:

  • Blueberry
  • Broccoli
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Kale
  • Tart Cherry
  • Turmeric Extract

G Fuel is a potent mix of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables.

Natural antioxidant-rich fruit and vegetable extracts were combined to produce G Fuel, a one-of-a-kind supplement.

Electrolytes

G Fuel comprises electrolytes and minerals in the form of potassium and sodium that helps in hydration. For a simple explanation, here’s a table on how they work and their amounts in G Fuel:

ElectrolytesAmountsEffects
Potassium85 mglowers blood pressure and salt susceptibility while also minimizing the likelihood of strokes
Sodium70 mgmaintains the level of your blood pressure and fluids while sustaining the appropriate function of muscles

Basically, you are receiving a balanced amount of electrolytes to avoid dehydration, which is important for gamers and streamers who are always glued to their screens and have no time for quick breaks.

Does G Fuel Taste Good?

Indeed! It has a pleasant flavour that you can enjoy, especially the one I had, which was PewDiePie. With its high caffeine content, it does provide you with a reasonable boost.

The flavour was intended to taste like red cherries, but for me, it tastes like a blend of cherry and strawberry. If you like berry-flavoured drinks, you will not be disappointed. I really enjoyed it.

In terms of other flavours, all surprisingly taste wonderful, they don’t leave an unpleasant aftertaste. Better check my review of the Best Flavours of G Fuel for detailed information about their tastes.

Can You Drink G Fuel every day?

In general, having energy drinks every day may lead to caffeine addiction which is definitely not a good thing.

If you want to prevent any caffeine-related negative effects, you should limit yourself to one serving of G Fuel each day. Truly, the caffeine component of G Fuel is responsible for the majority of the problems that might emerge as a result of excessive consumption.

Even though it has no sugar, G Fuel contains 300 mg of caffeine. So, if you consume two cans of G Fuel, you run the danger of suffering from caffeine overdose.

Can You Buy G Fuel in Australia?

Yes, when I bought G Fuel for myself in Australia, I spent around $26 for seven drinks. Mainly, the price comprises everything, including the shipping and tax fees.

There are three variants of G Fuel:

You may wonder why I bought seven drinks in one go, that’s because buying G Fuel in bulk saves you money. In other words, each drink costs around $4, which I think is not too overpriced, isn’t it?

Not to mention, I used a promo code (“IMMORTAL”), which I found online, at the checkout and saved $4.50 in that transaction. If not, I would have spent more money. Also, in my experience, it took almost a month for the products to arrive in Australia, which is a bit long to wait in my opinion.

Shipping is yet to be added to the total at this point. The whole thing ends up being quite expensive.
The email from G Fuel after you make an order telling you that they might take 5 days to ship your order to you.
But seriously, why does it take so long to even get it out the door? 36 days from order placed to arrival at my door is way too long to wait.

What are the negatives of G Fuel?

G Fuel is a widely used energy drink among gamers and people who lead active lives. While it has numerous advantages, it also has some disadvantages. One of the most serious disadvantages is that it can be addictive.

People who consume G Fuel regularly may become addicted to it and find it difficult to live without it. This can result in issues such as insomnia and irritability. Another disadvantage is that it can be costly.

A can of G Fuel can cost around $3, which can quickly add up if consumed regularly. Finally, G Fuel has some unfavorable side effects, such as headaches and stomachaches.

Alternatives to G Fuel Australia

If you think that G Fuel is not for you and you’d like to have other energy drinks in Australia, you might want to consider some that I listed below. The last alternative is my favourite one.

V Energy Drink

V Energy is a well-known energy drink in Australia that contains 85 milligrams of caffeine and five different vitamins.

Each 275ml can have a considerable amount of sugar, but for those who are on a sugar diet, there is also a sugar-free version.

I’m not sure what V stands for but I like to think it’s “vegan”. So if you’re vegan or a vegetarian, you have nothing to worry about because it’s gluten-free.

Mother

Mother is also an energy drink from Australia. Each 500ml can have 150mg of caffeine or approximately 9.46 milligrams per fluid ounce.

Other than that, it is also available in a sugar-free variant. As a part of its benefits, the beverage is said to improve both your physical and mental performance, particularly your concentration, allowing you to perform better on your tasks.

Other energy drinks:

REIZE (Highly Recommended)

REIZE is, in my experience, the finest energy drink available.

Yes, I believe REIZE is even better than G Fuel, which is saying a lot considering how good some of the G Fuel flavours are.

Fortunately, REIZE provides the optimum energy boost without the crash thanks to a moderate 50mg of caffeine and a well-balanced combination of taurine, ginseng, and B group vitamins.

Most importantly, REIZE is far less expensive than G Fuel, having one of the greatest deals you can find in the market! As a matter of fact, REIZE will be supplied directly to your home for as little as around $1 per drink.

That’s incredibly good value for money.

Try REIZE now and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a smarter choice than G Fuel.

Try REIZE for yourself now, and I’m confident you’ll agree that it’s the better option.

Conclusion

On the bright side, G Fuel is well-known for offering a diverse selection of flavours so you can have a lot of choices. In fact, its weird names and colourful packaging makes me all the more interested in trying all of them.

While G Fuel claims to provide you with the energy you need throughout the day and contains the essential nutrients you need for your workouts, it should still be taken in moderation, just like any other caffeinated beverage.

Nevertheless, you must be aware of when and how much G Fuel you should consume each day. Don’t overdo it and you’ll be fine.
