Moose Juice Energy Drink: A Deep Dive into Nutrition Facts

Moose Juice is very high in nutrients containing four types of B vitamins and three kinds of amino acids.

It is a well-known energy drink manufactured and marketed in the United Kingdom. Primarily, the beverage is manufactured by Muscle Moose and is advertised especially to gym-active people.

So, if you want to know more about Moose Juice Energy drink, particularly about its nutrition facts, then you’ve come to the right place. Read on!

What Does Moose Juice Do?

Considering that Moose Juice is a high-performance energy drink, it provides many advantages when used in moderation. Among them are the following:

  • Keeps you up and going
  • Improves your cognitive functioning
  • Recharges your body
  • Enhances your workout
  • Boosts your response time
  • Increases your mental sharpness

Bear in mind that you can only enjoy these benefits when you consume Moose Juice in moderation.

What Is Moose Juice Made Of?

These are the ingredients that make Moose Juice a high-performance beverage:

  • Carbonated water
  • D-Glucuronolactone
  • Taurine
  • Caffeine anhydrous
  • L-Tyrosine
  • L-Carnitine
  • L-Tartrate
  • Vitamin B3, B6, B9, B12
  • Choline Bitartrate
  • Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA)
  • Acidity regulators (Malic Acid, Citric Acid)
  • Artificial sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium)

Does Moose Juice Contain Sugar?

Moose Juice does not include any kind of added sugar and uses artificial sweeteners instead. Cutting down on added sugar lowers its calorie content and makes the beverage a healthy option.

The artificial sweeteners utilized in the beverage are sucralose and acesulfame-K.

Sucralose is a popular sugar replacement because it is 600 times sweeter than conventional sugar, and just a tiny amount of it can make the drink taste sweet.

When you’re sipping a sugar-free beverage, it’s most likely to contain sucralose to satisfy your want for sweetness.

On the other hand, Acesulfame-K is a sugar substitute that is 200 times sweeter than sugar and is usually used in baking. However, excessive added sugar consumption has negative consequences such as elevated blood sugar, tooth decay, and other health problems.

Consequently, if you consume artificial sweeteners, you will not experience the same side effects as conventional sugar. Additionally, for moderate consumption, both of the artificial sweeteners have been authorized by the FDA.

Nevertheless, if you consume artificial sweeteners in excess, you will experience adverse effects as well.

Nutritional Facts in Moose Juice Energy Drink.

Moose Juice is rich in B-vitamin complexes and various BCAAs. Fret not if you don’t know much about them because I wrote a short summary below explaining what these nutrients do to our bodies.

BCAAs

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are a type of amino acid that improves the overall health of the muscles in your body.

BCAAs are also referred to as bodybuilding amino acids because they aid in developing muscle and reducing muscular discomfort.

According to some research, BCAAs can enhance physical and cognitive performance. Aside from that, BCAAs also aid in the development of lean muscle.

Moose Juice may have BCAAs, but you shouldn’t rely on this energy drink or other beverages that contain BCAAs, alone to aid in muscle building or recovery since it lacks other nutrients.

B-Vitamins

There are four different B vitamins in the drink: niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, and cobalamin.

Here are a few of its effects when taken:

  • Vitamin B3 or niacin is a water-soluble vitamin. This vitamin lowers LDL cholesterol and aids in the improvement of brain function.
  • Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine may contribute to the promotion of brain health and lower the risk of depression.
  • Vitamin B9 (folic acid) aids in the creation of DNA and RNA, as well as the development of tissues and cell division.
  • Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) may have a positive effect on one’s mood and may aid in the creation of red blood cells.

As you can see, B vitamins provide a wide range of advantages. Beyond the benefits I’ve already discussed, B vitamins are also associated with improved vision, a healthier appetite, and increased energy levels.

All About B vitamins.

Can You Drink Moose Juice Daily?

You can drink Moose Energy every day in moderation.

However, I am not a massive supporter of ingesting energy drinks daily, But if you really want to take energy drinks daily, make sure that you’re within your limits.

Even if you have to drink one can of Moose Juice every day, keep your consumption to one can per day, or else the high caffeine and vitamin content may take its toll on your body and cause you to get dehydrated.

Not to mention the possibility of experiencing adverse effects such as lack of sleep or weariness if you drink excessive amounts of Moose Juice in a day. Consuming more than one can of Moose Juice per day is detrimental to one’s health.

Therefore, moderation is the key.

Alternative to Moose Juice Energy Drink

Even though Moose Juice is a fantastic option, you may want to explore other alternatives to mix things up a bit.

Lucozade

Lucozade Energy is an excellent source of energy and has proven benefits in improving attention and focus.

The sugar content of a 330ml can of Lucozade Energy drink is 14.9g. Aside from the Lucozade Energy variant, there is a sugar-free sub-brand called Lucozade Zero.

Lucozade Energy drinks contain 12mg of caffeine per 100ml. Therefore a single 330ml can hold approximately 40mg of caffeine.

If you want to know more about Lucozade, check my review of the drink in this article.

Relentless

In case you’re looking for a healthy caffeine rush, Relentless is an excellent option with its 160 milligrams of caffeine content.

Accordingly, this is available in various tastes that have been particularly formulated to keep you awake throughout the day or night.

Apart from that, it has an incredible flavor and is available at a fair price.

Moreover, the company incorporates B vitamins (B3, B5, B6, B12) in their formulations, which is a significant advantage, in my opinion.

Other energy drinks:
