That high amount of caffeine can cause an intense adrenaline rush, irregular heartbeats, and even sleeping disorders, as well as anxiety and depression. Studies also show that high caffeinated beverages can affect the insulin sensitivity of individuals.
Caffeine dependence can also result in caffeine addiction, where the individuals in question can experience long-term effects such as anxiety and stomach problems.
It’s also worth mentioning that Lit Energy uses Caffeine Anhydrous, a more concentrated version of caffeine. It’s quickly more potent than its regular counterpart.
This is why you need to listen to your body whenever you’re introducing it to something new. The energy drink brands may share similar ingredients, but they all have different blends that your body may or may not take accordingly.

Alternatives to Lit Energy
So let’s say that Lit Energy may be too much for you to handle. You still have a lot of options and I’ve compiled the best of them in the list below!
If you don’t know Red Bull, then I’m assuming that you live under a rock. This brand is dubbed the King of energy drinks and is widely used by athletes, especially in racing.
It’s relatively smaller than its competitors by being 8.4 fl. oz in size. It contains 110 calories, 28g of sugar, and 80 mg of caffeine, among other ingredients.
Red Bull is known to be an effective energy drink that’s as strong as a cup of coffee. However, it poses the possibility of causing a sugar crash due to its sugar content. Nonetheless, if you want to ease yourself into energy drinks, then Red Bull can be your first brand to try.
If you’re more into healthier options, then Aspire can be your next buddy.
