Popularly known as the Think Drink, Nerd Focus contains active nootropics and production-efficient minerals. It is a great beverage for developing attention and awareness, improving memory power, and supporting general cognitive performance.
Nerd is not your typical energy drink that only promotes physical strength, but it is also touted as a mind enhancer. Each can of Nerd contains a large number of unique substances such as caffeine, taurine, guarana, ginseng, huperzine, Ginkgo, and many more, that are intended to boost concentration.
Keep on reading, If you want to know more about Nerd Focus and what my thoughts are about this energy drink.
Let’s begin.
What is in Nerd Focus?
First up, let’s discuss the primary group of ingredients in this energy drink. It is composed of a high concentration of nutritional nootropics and adaptogens, such as Ginkgo Biloba and other amino acids.
Along with the common beneficial effects of these substances on your body, particularly in your brain, Ginkgo Biloba has been shown to improve the clarity of mind and your memory. Also, it is well blended with huperzine which then promotes your mental attention.
Other than that, for a benefit on your neurons, it has Alpha-GPC which has been proven to improve analytical skills. Besides that, it consists of the nutrients such as choline and glycerophosphate and has been also a component that can greatly improve your mental health.
Another ingredient you can find in this drink is the DMAE, which is a component of acetylcholine in your nerves and it has been researched that it can enhance your alertness.
Apart from those, stress release and developed concentration are all aided by GABA, an amino acid that enables fast and accurate coordination of the brain cells.

Nerd Focus Caffeine Amounts
Here’s some information about the caffeine amounts of Nerd Focus. It has 10.67mg of caffeine per fluid ounce (36.07mg per 100 ml), which totals 128mg of caffeine in a 12 ounce can.
Even so, it is comparable to one and a half cups of ordinary coffee, so it is not excessive at all. However, always remember that you must consume caffeine within the limits of your tolerance and capability.
Furthermore, taking large quantities of caffeine necessitates the basic requirement for its consumers to closely monitor and be accountable for their caffeine consumption.
Is Nerd Focus Bad for you?
It’s not. In fact, Nerd Focus may be able to provide you with all of the advantages it has to offer while also preventing you from experiencing any of the adverse effects that are linked with energy drinks if you consume them properly and with discipline.
Plus, with all of the herbal and nootropic ingredients included in this drink, it can undoubtedly provide your mind with a steady boost, allowing you to remain focused on the tasks in front of you.
Nerd Focus Review
Let’s now move into the main part of this article, Nerd has two variants and both have the same focus, concentration, and memory formulation, but the contents in each still have some significant differences.
What caught my attention is that the Original variant contains high fructose corn syrup, but the Zero Calorie does not include this ingredient. To make up for this, the Zero Calorie edition includes Sodium Gluconate in the blend to produce a pleasant taste.
In terms of flavor, the original variant is sweet, but not overpoweringly so and a little citrus flavor may also be detected in the drink itself. Unlike other energy drinks, this one is certainly palatable, and the flavor did not even bother me at all.
The Zero Calorie version, on the other hand, was significantly more flavorful, and I could easily taste the sweeteners in it, mainly the sucralose. Well, it is also present in the original form but the taste of corn syrup is more evident.
Flavors of Nerd Focus
As I mentioned in my review, the Nerd Focus has only released two varieties so far, both of which are identical to one another. They are the following:
- Nerd Focus Original
- Nerd Focus Zero Calorie
Even with the different variations and certain ingredients, Nerd Focus has the same pricing for both of their products, with one case of 12 cans costing around $30 and a discounted price of $250 for 10 cases with 12 cans each. The recommended retail price is $3 which is really pricey for me.
Alternatives to Nerd Focus
For further information about other brands of energy drinks, here are some alternatives you can check out.
Rowdy
Rowdy is an energy drink with a caffeine infusion created from green tea that is available in a variety of flavors, unlike Nerd.
Additionally, it also has 90 calories, 18g of sugar, and 160mg of caffeine, as well as other essential components such as B-vitamins, potassium, and magnesium, making it an excellent option for those who want to maintain a healthy athletic lifestyle.
Furthermore, Rowdy Energy Drink does not include many of the typical energy drink extracts, but it does contain vitamin C and electrolytes. Also, Rowdy uses erythritol, stevia, and monk fruit extract as sweeteners, in addition to cane sugar.
Adrenaline Shoc
Another excellent energy drink brand is Adrenaline Shoc, owing to its 300mg of natural caffeine, amino acids, vitamins, and electrolytes, as well as its other ingredients.
Additionally, its one-of-a-kind blend of natural chemicals may prove to be quite advantageous while engaging in intellectually and physically demanding activities.
Other brands of energy drinks to consider:
REIZE (Top Pick)
If you think that Nerd Focus is not for the likes of you, you can try out my favorite one as it is also the best-reviewed.
REIZE is a fantastic powdered energy drink that comes in a convenient 4g sachet that is so easy to carry with you wherever you go.
Moreover, it is also 100% sugar-free, has just 11 calories per serving, and contains a mild 50 milligrams of caffeine per serving. With that, REIZE includes a carefully calibrated blend of taurine, ginseng, and B-complex vitamins to support the body’s natural defenses.
Thus, it seems to be the ultimate energy drink combo since it offers you the burst of energy you need while trying to get around your day with no crash that is usually a side effect of other energy drinks.
To top all of the wonderful benefits I mentioned above, REIZE will be delivered directly to your door for as little as $1 per drink, and that’s an outstanding deal!
So, take advantage of this opportunity by giving yourself a REIZE and I’m sure that you’ll agree that it’s a much superior long-term solution than Nerd Focus Energy.
Conclusion
Overall, I could say that Nerd Focus could be at the top of your choices if you’re a fan of nootropics-filled energy drinks.
The Nerd Focus energy drink brand was previously only accessible in Texas, but now, it is also accessible in Tennessee, Wisconsin, Las Vegas, and New Jersey, with a particular emphasis on the Jersey Shore, where they have been airing a lot of their commercials.
While the Nerd Focus energy drink brand has a great promotion and marketing team that made the drink popular, its success will not be possible without its components and their effectiveness.
However, you should be aware that the Original variant of Nerd Focus contains a great amount of sugar so you need to make sure you don’t get over your restrictions in a day. Also, there are a lot of other options that are sugar-free but still effective.
Lastly, don’t forget to check out my favorite energy drink of all time, REIZE. It will give you the best energy drink experience you’ll ever have.
