According to a press release, BAYA, Starbucks’ first foray into the energy market, is an RTD beverage “produced from caffeine” naturally present in coffee fruit as well as antioxidant vitamin C for immune support to provide customers a boost of feel-good energy.

Both flavors contain pineapple passionfruit, with the pineapple flavor being significantly stronger. The flavor of the passionfruit isn’t overbearing.

Although I like the bitterness, I can see why many people would be dissatisfied if they were expecting Bang, Reign, or Adrenaline Shoc’s sweetness. If you don’t go into it with that mindset, you’ll be okay.
