Is 150mg of Caffeine Bad for you?

It’s not in the table above, but Razorwire has 150 mg of caffeine, and no, it isn’t bad for you.

However, this amount is a little bit too much for me. I personally prefer energy drinks with only 50-100mg of caffeine. I feel like that amount is enough and much safer.

It’s also my way of keeping myself in 400mg maximum recommended caffeine intake set by the FDA as I’m not sure if I’ll be consuming other caffeinated products for a day.

Going over the safe amount can cause you the following unpleasant issues:

  • Nervousness
  • Irregular Heartbeat
  • Dehydration
  • Mood and Sleeping Issues
  • Headaches

If you happen to have high caffeine tolerance, there’s a big chance you could have caffeine dependency. The main symptom of being caffeine-dependent is when you notice you cannot start your day correctly without caffeine.

That’s not a good thing because it might lead to caffeine addiction. More so, having high caffeine tolerance does not exempt you from being addicted to caffeine.

So, remember to watch your caffeine intake properly.

Better careful than sorry.

Is the Artificial Sweetener in Razorwire Dangerous?

Razorwire uses sucralose as a sugar substitute. This compound is quite famous because it can make a product 600 times sweeter than using table sugar.

Aside from that, it doesn’t give you any calories. This is why it can really help you watch your weight when you’re keeping your body fit.

Here are the known benefits for sucralose:

  • Maintain quality under high temperatures
  • No after taste
  • Long Shelf life

The FDA also approved the use of Sucralose, so I think you should not worry even though it’s artificially made.

In addition to that, scientists haven’t found any direct adverse side effects of sucralose on those who regularly consume them. While it may also cause problems, it’s very rare for you to drink past the recommended.

Here are just a few symptoms of sucralose overdose:

  • Blurred vision.
  • Allergic reactions.
  • Blood sugar increases and weight gain

By the way, if you weigh 150-pounds, 340mg a day would be the safe amount of sucralose per day for you, as you can consume around 5mg of it for each kg of your body weight.

Calorie Content of Razorwire

Razorwire contains 15 calories, which is considerably low.

The EFSA suggests you only have to take 2,000 to 2,500-calories daily if you have a moderately active lifestyle. However, if you’re very active, you might have to go with 2,400 to 2,800 calories daily.

A calorie is basically the energy you can get from Razorwire. So, the higher the calorie amount, the longer it would take you to burn that calorie off. With only 15 calories, Razorwire is an ideal energy drink if you’re currently on a low-calorie diet.

However, if you don’t care about calories whenever you check on energy drinks, I suggest you do so now and watch this video.

How Long Can Razorwire Energise You?

The caffeine in Razorwire reaches a peak level in your bloodstream within the span of 30 to 60 minutes.

After six hours of consuming caffeine, half of the 150mg is still in your body. For it to finally wear off in your bloodstream, you might need to wait for additional 10 hours.

Just like any other energy drink, Razorwire is not recommended for children and pregnant women. This is because caffeine can affect them more than your average healthy adult.

If you’re also sensitive to caffeine, I suggest you go with drinks with less caffeine.

When Can You Take Razorwire?

A study shows that you should take energy drinks 10-60 minutes before your exercise. In doing this, you will be sure the ingredients are already in your system when you get into the bulk of your workout. Therefore, it can smoothly improve mental focus, alertness, and performance.

Besides, consuming any product right away won’t work instantly. This is because all products have a different time of effect on your body.

I personally like taking Razorwire in the mornings because the caffeine boost powers me through my morning routine. However, I would not recommend taking caffeinated beverages before bedtime as it can interrupt your body clock.

How Many Razorwire is Safe Per Day?

In my opinion, it’s best if you keep yourself limited to two servings per day.

If you want a stronger flavour, I guess you have to adjust your water. The taste may change, but that is much better than consuming an amount that could cause you adverse effects.

Two mixes can already give you 300mg of caffeine. The other 100mg is just enough as an allowance for the rest of the day.

If you can lower your lit to one mix per day, then that would be even better.

Razorwire Energy Drink Alternatives

You can try these following energy drinks if you’re not sure it’s safe to take Razorwire every day. Along with these suggestions is my favourite, which I believe is very safe for everyday use.

Relentless is one of the most popular energy drinks in the UK, and it has been around since 2006.

This energy drink contains around 160mg of caffeine, which is a moderate amount. It also has ingredients like taurine and B vitamins that can help you perform better in your workouts.

You can find this beverage in most of your local convenience stores as well as in supermarkets. You can also buy it from Amazon, eBay, or other online retailers. However, the prices of this energy drink may vary in this case.

Bottomline

You can definitely drink Razorwire every day. However, I won’t recommend it, especially if you don’t have any important things to work on. It’s not good for your body to drink energy drinks every day.

But if you really can take it, you can drink a mix of Razorwire each day. It also has nutritious attributes that are hard to say no to.

Therefore, if you’re about to drink Razorwire energy drink regularly, make sure to consume it in moderation. Otherwise, enjoy!
