Based on that, I would say that it will definitely give you an energy boost to start your day, but I’m not sure about having so much sugar at any time in the day, let alone when you first wake up in the morning.

Despite being a big fan of Red Bull overall, I’m not much of a fan of Red Bull’s sugar and calories. So unless you’re drinking it before your morning jog, I would recommend that you go for a healthier energy drink instead.

Going sugar-less means a better energy boost as you won’t need to worry about the dreaded sugar crash from consuming excessive amounts of sugar.

This study showed that drinking Red Bull significantly improved a range of physical and mental performance markers. However, in my opinion, the same would also be true of most energy drinks, because the positive impacts are probably mostly due to the caffeine, which is certainly not unique to Red Bull.
