Bawls Energy Drink Review: Is it Worth the Hype?

Bawls Energy Drink Review: Is it Worth the Hype?

Bawls energy drink, a herbal and delicious energy drink, has been in business since 1996, making it one of the most established brands in the energy drink industry.

It is packed in distinctive 10-ounce green glass bottles. The color represents the taste of ginger in the drink. The brand is simple, clean, and has an appealing packaging which is the opposite of some of the potent energy drink brands available in the market today.

Bawls contains a ginger ale blend combined with artificial flavors, natural flavors, and high fructose corn syrup, which creates an enjoyable overall taste of the drink.

Ginger ale? Artificial flavors? Natural flavors? Corn syrup? They might sound weird, but I have to tell you, the drink tastes great and has a fun lemony sting that is so refreshing.

Read on for my whole review of Bawls!

Ingredients in Bawls

Bawls energy drink ingredients list is not too complicated to understand, and it closely resembles several popular caffeinated cola and energy drinks in the energy drink industry.

Listed below are the ingredients in Bawls energy drink:

It might seem next to impossible to be consistently energized and focused throughout the day, but with Bawls, it is attainable.

This energy drink is intended to produce a considerable boost in power, function, and attention while minimizing the occurrence of jitters and other unpleasant side effects.

Bawls Nutritional Information

Bawls Energy Drink is well recognized for its crisp, refreshing, and unique blend, amongst many other factors. Take a look at the table below to see what are the essential nutrients included in this drink that make it stand out.

Unlike other energy drinks, Bawls doesn’t contain any vitamins, neither vitamin b nor c which is common in energy drinks. Although that’s a big downside, Bawls claims that it can still give a healthy energy boost because it is infused with guarana berry.

in terms of providing a delicious energy drink, Bawls’ Guarana certainly works. In fact, it is also added to other beverages of the Bawls brand. However, it will leave you wanting more since each serving of Bawls energy drink doesn’t contain much guarana extract.

How Much Caffeine does Bawls Have?

The makers of Bawls energy drinks said that every ounce of Bawls has 6.38 mg of caffeine, making it 21.56 mg for its 100 ml amount. But, it has 2 serving sizes.

The drink has just 59 mg of caffeine per 10 oz bottle, and a 16 oz can contain a total of 102 milligrams of caffeine, which is considered a moderate amount. Though it still depends on your caffeine tolerance.

Besides, this amount falls somewhere in the middle of regular caffeinated cola and a regular energy drink. Although it does not contain a significant amount of caffeine, it is effective as a pick-me-up.

Energy drinks are almost synonymous with caffeine so you should watch this video to be informed about the dangers of extreme caffeine in our bodies.

What is the Taste of Bawls Energy Drink?

Indulging in carbonated energy drinks has never been more delightful or fine-tuned with Bawls! Each bottle of it has a delicate sugary taste with a lemony flavor.

That is for the Original flavor, but Bawls Energy is also available in six other flavors, including:

  • Original
  • Cherry
  • Cherry Cola
  • Ginger
  • Mandarin Orange
  • Root Beer

What’s common between all its flavors is that they are all like sparkling sodas. Immediately after your first sip, the sweet taste is already evident which is expected since they all have a significant quantity of sugar.

Other than that, Bawls’ carbonated water keeps the drink light and fizzy, adding a new depth to the sweet flavors.

While I could see the flavor as general appealing, the drink does leave a little syrupy/sticky sensation in your mouth.

Printed information at the back of a can of Bawls energy drink.
It is very small but you can see a warning that says “This product contains high levels of caffeine”.

Does Bawls Energy Drink Work?

Yes, Bawls Energy works despite its high sugar content and has few nutrients in each serving.

Bawls Energy is comprised of caffeine and Guarana extract, both standard components in popular sodas and energy beverages. Although some consumers are raving about it, others believe it is just average and that caffeine is the only driving force behind it, which is somewhat true.

I should also emphasize the fact that they utilized Guarana extract since it is healthy and effective. Some scientists are looking for ways on improving the process of extraction of caffeine from Guarana seeds.

This makes the Guarana extract the primary focus and energy-boosting element of Bawls Energy. And, of course, the caffeine in this beverage was already proven by other researchers to have the efficacy to promote physical and mental performance.

Energy Drink Alternatives to Bawls

If you think that Bawls’ sugar content and lack of vitamins will not suit your diet plans, here are some other alternatives you can have instead, having the last brand as the most effective one in my opinion.

Red Bull Sugar-free

According to their well-known phrase, Red Bull sugar-free has no sugar, just wings. Essentially, Red Bull sugar-free is the same as Red Bull Energy Drink, but without the sugar.

Besides, only five calories are included in each Red Bull sugar-free variation. Caffeine, taurine, B group vitamins, aspartame, acesulfame K, Alpine Water, and other high-quality components are used to produce this magnificent energy drink.

Monster Energy Drink

Monster Energy is famous for unleashing the beast within you, figuratively of course. Even though this drink is not sugar-free, it does contain a little lower than what Bawls has.

Even though Monster has a strong punch of energy, it also has a smooth, easy-to-drink taste. If you’ll ask what its flavor is like, it has just a monster flavor to it, it’s like no other.

With 160 mg of caffeine in a 16 ounce can, Monster Energy provides more energy even with moderate amounts, so you can be assured that you’ll not overdose with one can when compared to competing for 300 mg of caffeine-strong energy drinks.

Other brands of energy drinks you may consider as well:

REIZE (10 out of 10)

Here’s my most favorite energy drink of all time, REIZE!

REIZE is a delightful powdered energy drink that comes in 4g sachets for easy storage and transportation. It includes 50 mg of caffeine in a manageable dose, is sugar-free, and contains just 11 calories per sachet.

If you’re disappointed that Bawls doesn’t have any micronutrients, you’d be pleased to know that there are several helpful elements in REIZE, including taurine, ginseng, and B-group vitamins. This clever combination aids in providing you with the ideal energy boost without any of the terrible slumps.

The best part is that you can get REIZE delivered straight to your home for as little as $1 per drink. The price is incredibly reasonable when you consider the superb quality of the product.

Try REIZE now and experience the best!

A pack and a glass of REIZE Energy Drink.
A serving of cold Reize Energy Drink on a hot day is like a piece of heaven.

Conclusion

Bawls energy drink is a fantastic energy drink that is well implemented in both design and taste.

And so, if you’re looking for a tasty and carbonated energy drink that will help you ditch the tedious coffee and tea routine, Bawls Energy may be the beverage for you. Nevertheless, the Bawls energy drink is ideal for anybody looking for a typical energy beverage with a sweet and fresh flavor.

Indeed, Bawls Energy Drink is a good choice for those seeking an alternative to their daily cup of coffee if you are not worried about the presence of high fructose corn syrup, which in my opinion, is nothing to be concerned of.
