As you have seen, Bang Energy doesn’t have any sugar at all. However, it uses artificial sweeteners to enhance its taste which is beneficial if you don’t want to gain additional weight. You can find the following contents in a can of Bang:

Is Bang Good For You?
Bang Energy is good specifically with the boost it can give you and its other ingredients. It has Super Creatine, Caffeine, CoQ10, and B-Vitamins.
Super Creatine is merely a substance that increases lean muscle mass and helps your muscles recover after exercise. This makes Bang a perfect pre-workout drink, too. Because creatine also helps your muscles in high-intensity activities like weightlifting.
By the way, creatine is just one of the main ingredients you can find in pre-workout drinks.
Coenzyme Q10 is used to treat heart conditions such as cardiovascular breakdown and hypertension. You can also rely on this compound to help with headaches, cerebral pain, Parkinson’s illness, and numerous different conditions.
Health professionals suggest that if you’re 50 years old, you must have 100 mg of CoQ10 supplement each day. Having a low amount of C0Q10 can lead to upper abdominal pain and even loss of appetite.
I’m not saying you totally rely on Bang Energy for its CoQ10. You can also have this element by consuming other vegetables, fatty fish, and nuts.
There are also B-vitamins in a can of Bang Energy. These vitamins can help your nerve and cell function, making them suitable for your overall health.
How Much Caffeine is in Bang Energy?
You can compare the caffeine in Bang Energy to the caffeine in 3 cups of coffee—300mg. Just Imagine the bang you’ll experience if you consume three cups of coffee all at once!
But just to be clear, 300mg is a lot. In comparison, the FDA only recommends a maximum of 400mg a day. High amounts of caffeine can cause negative side effects such as anxiety, headaches, insomnia, and rapid heart rate.
This is why I don’t recommend Bang for those who are caffeine-sensitive. While 300mg is still within the recommended limit, it’s a very strong amount of caffeine. In fact, if you’re new to Bang, you should take half a serving first and see if you’d experience any side effects.

Bang Energy Side Effects
Because of its high caffeine content, drinking one serving of Bang can put your caffeine intake quite close to the daily limit.
This means that if you drink more than one can of Bang, you would likely experience side effects. It could be in the form of insomnia, headaches, nervousness, irritability, restlessness, or muscle tremors.
Energy drinks contain caffeine because they will improve your physical and mental capacity. This led me to test Bang caffeine, coQ10, and amino acids, and here’s what I learned.
While Bang asserts that each can contains 300mg of Caffeine, lab testing showed that, in reality, it has lesser caffeine in each can.
For CoQ10, Bang doesn’t show how much is in a can. Lab testing showed that a 16 fl. oz can of Bang contains only 63.86mg of CoQ10. I believe they should’ve stated this as a typical daily dose is CoQ10 100mg – 200mg, and the dosage is nowhere far from these numbers.
Bang guarantees that each can contains nine different amino acids, yet lab testing showed that the test only recognized 3 of them. The result didn’t distinguish the other 6 in any way.
Is Bang Bad For Your Heart?
It shouldn’t be harmful if you consume it responsibly.
Although energy drinks have been known to increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, as stated in this study. It also says that regularly consuming energy drinks can affect your heart rate.
This might be why overdosing on caffeine also results in heart rate irregularities. On the other hand, if you consume caffeinated products like coffee in a moderate amount, it can also help you prevent heart problems.
Therefore, the amount of your consumption plays a significant role.
Is it Reasonable to Drink Bang Every Day?
I see no problem if you want to consume Bang Energy daily. If you’re living an active lifestyle having a source of additional boost is necessary.
On the other hand, I strongly suggest you stick to consuming one Bang Energy per day only. It’s not a good idea to take another one when you already know the side effects you might get from its caffeine content. Although it has a lower amount than 300mg, it’s always best to take precautions.
On the other note, it would surely help to heed the warning stated on its labels. First, you should not take it if you’re under 18. In addition to that, it isn’t safe to consume Bang Energy if you’re pregnant or taking any medication.
Alternative Energy Drinks to Bang
Most of my suggestions here have lower caffeine content compared to Bang. So, if this article made you caffeine conscious, here are other energy drinks worth your try.
