Despite being low on calories and sugar, there are claims that energy drinks like Brein Fuel are dangerous. That’s why you might be wondering if Brein Fuel could be one of them, considering it has lots of caffeine.

The most common primary function of energy drinks that you probably know is to provide your body with energy. This is because it has a stimulant like caffeine. However, it’s capable of the following too:

As Brein Fuel energy drink has caffeine, it can also provide you with the benefits above. I’ll discuss the caffeine in Brein Fuel in the next section.
How Much Caffeine is in Brein Fuel?
You can find 360mg of caffeine sourced from unroasted green coffee beans in Brein Fuel. With this amount, you’ll really feel the alertness and energy from your brain all over your body. However, this amount is way too much.
Just for comparison, a regular cup of coffee only has 95 mg of caffeine. That’s usually enough to make most people alert for several hours. Imagine what 360 mg can do!
I also personally prefer energy drink brands that range from 50 to 100mg of caffeine only since I think that’s the perfect amount to get a good energy boost without risking side effects.
The FDA has also set a 400mg daily caffeine limit. If you consume one bottle of Brein Fuel, that only leaves you 40 mg left before you’re treading on dangerous territory.
This is why I don’t really recommend Brein fuel for those who are caffeine-sensitive or those who are just starting out with energy drinks.

How Much Sugar is in Brein Fuel?
There’s 4g of sugar per bottle of Brein Fuel, as I’ve mentioned. While other brands don’t use artificial sweeteners if their product already has natural sugar, this isn’t the case with Brein Fuel.
The brand uses low-glycemic sugar called D-Ribose, which our bodies naturally create. It’s healthier than other kinds of added sugar, and it can also be beneficial for your body.
Brein Fuel also contains the artificial sweetener sucralose. The FDA approved this for general use because it’s good for your diet. Artificial sweeteners are considered a healthier substitute for natural sugar because they’re calorie-free.
According to this study, if you have diabetes, you should go for products that use artificial sweeteners. They’re also beneficial for obesity.
That said, getting over 30g of sugar in a day has a higher chance of causing sugar crashes. This can ruin your workout streak because taking a lot of sugar instead of feeling much power can make you feel sleepy. And when you’re exhausted, you won’t be able to finish any work.
That’s why you should keep track of your daily sugar intake to remain healthy and keep working.
Vitamins in Brein Fuel
Aside from minerals, vitamins are also essential nutrients because they can do hundreds of roles and benefits for your body. They can either heal wounds or strengthen bones, heal wounds.
They also help transform food into energy. Luckily, Brein Fuel has two significant vitamins that can help you with this.
First, it has 500mg of Vitamin C. This vitamin aids in the growth and repair of all body tissues. You only need around 100mg of vitamin C per day. However, even if you take 2000mg of Vitamin C, it cannot cause you any harm.
Aside from that, Brein Fuel also has Vitamin E. This vitamin is good for your vision, reproduction, blood health, brain, and skin. However, if you happen to take over 1000mg of this vitamin a day, you can experience nausea, fatigue, headache, and bleeding.
Many people use vitamin C and E every day. If you’re one of them, make sure you’re taking the correct dosage as advised by your doctor.
While the said vitamins are good for pregnant or lactating mothers, Brein Fuel is not. As per what this article says, energy drinks are not for pregnants. This is because energy drinks contain a high amount of caffeine.
How Many Cans of Brein Fuel Should You Drink Every Day?
Considering all the benefits and harmful effects of Brein Fuel, I’d say you only need a bottle per day. Although I understand if you have urges to drink more because it’s tasty and energy-boosting, I won’t recommend this for you.
If you are still looking for extra energy but you feel like the Brein Fuel’s effects have passed, you can try other options. Drinking enough water and getting proper sleep can get you energized too.
Other articles recommend having a second serving of energy drinks on the same day. I strongly suggest you don’t do this with Brein Fuel since it has a hefty amount of caffeine. You have to keep in mind the consequences you’ll get from this.

Alternative Energy Drinks to Brein Fuel
Because I think the caffeine level of Brein Fuel is way too high, I’ll suggest you some energy drinks that have lower amounts of caffeine. I’ve also included my favorite here, so make sure you check out the last one.
G Fuel is also an energy drink that can help you in many events. Its fruity taste is just part of the reason why many gamers worldwide love this energy drink.
It has lower caffeine content than Brein Fuel too. That said, 150mg of caffeine is still a bit higher than what I usually prefer.
If you’re cutting sugar from your diet, this one can be a good option as well. It lacks sugar and uses sucralose as its taste enhancer.
Moreover, it has antioxidants, L-tyrosine, and taurine, ensuring focus and energy. It’s gluten-free too!
Rip It Energy
Each can of Rip It has 80mg of caffeine. This energy drink describes itself as a dietary supplement. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t try replacing your meals with this drink.
Like most energy drinks, if you want to keep your body in shape, you should do it with proper meals and exercise. I guess the 80mg of caffeine is enough to keep you alert for a day.
In addition, this energy drink has Vitamin Bs and Vitamin C. It has 26g of sugar, so make sure you only drink one can to avoid sugar crashes.
REIZE (The Best)
For me, REIZE is the best energy drink for moderately active persons.
It contains a low 50 mg of caffeine, but that’s more than enough to get you through the day. Plus, you won’t need to worry about pesky side effects.
REIZE is packed with B vitamins, taurine, and ginseng that you won’t find in a bottle of Brein Fuel. It also only has 11 calories and no sugar, ensuring that the drink is suitable for all kinds of lifestyles and dietary needs.

While Brein Fuel doesn’t have any harmful ingredients, I’m not too fond of its caffeine content. On the other hand, I don’t doubt the boost and alertness it could give you for your tasks.
If you have high caffeine tolerance, 360mg might give you the kind of energy your body needs. Therefore, you can also use it as a pre-workout beverage. But I only recommend it for healthy adults who are used to caffeinated drinks.
All in all, Brein fuel is also not suitable for long-term and regular use since drinking such high amounts of caffeine often can lead to caffeine overdose and dependence.
Brein Fuel is just too much of a risk, in my opinion, and you can always find the nutrients it has in other brands with lower caffeine content.
If you are set on trying the drink, make sure you start with half a can first and monitor its effects on your body! If you experience any severe symptoms, consult a medical professional immediately.
