Exploring Glitch Energy Drink: A Detailed Product Review

Exploring Glitch Energy Drink: A Detailed Product Review

Jacob Johnson is the maker of Glitch Energy. He decided to put this energy drink in a tub, or little stick sachets called stimpack. This energy drink has no sugar and is low on calories.

While it’s made specifically for gamers, it’s also proven to increase your processing speed and focus. It can help you with activities such as jogging and working out because it has 150mg of caffeine from natural sources.

As the world of gaming gets intense over time, Glitch Energy’s formula copes up with this progress. Games are getting demanding in performance and time. With Glitch Energy’s three refreshing flavors, you will always have the motivation to keep going.

Personally, I like all three flavors of Glitch energy drink. I’m also a fan of its sugar-free nature.

Nutritional Value of Glitch Energy

The alertness you’ll get from the combination of coffee beans and green tea leaves is palpable.

Let’s not forget that it’s also paired with higher nitric oxide levels. This can increase the oxygen rate going to the brain, which results in improved computational activity.

Glitch Energy Ingredients

Glitch Energy also has the following ingredients:

  • Natural Flavor
  • Citric Acid
  • Malic Acid
  • Calcium Silicate
  • Silicon Dioxide
  • Xanthan Gum (Food Additive)
  • Sucralose (Artificial Sweetener)
  • Acesulfame Potassium (Artificial Sweetener)
  • Fruit and Vegetable Powder

Is There Caffeine in Glitch?

While other gaming supplements use classic stimulant caffeine, Glitch uses 150mg of the naturally-sourced kind. What makes it different is that there’s less chances of you experiencing jitters and other side effects.

Moreover, it has Dynamine, which could increase the caffeine’s half-life. This gives you alertness for an extended period.

To make it clear, Dynamine is not a stimulant. However, just like stimulants, this Dynamine can increase your energy and focus and your adenosine receptors.

If you do not know, adenosine receptors are responsible for activating your brain’s wakefulness. In line with this, I think it’s better that you don’t take Glitch Energy hours before your sleeping time to avoid insomnia.

Aside from this, you would also get other side effects if you overdose on caffeine. According to the FDA, you can take a maximum of 400mg of caffeine per day. Going above this amount can result in health problems such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Acne Problems
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle breakdown
  • Caffeine Addiction
  • Caffeine Dependency
  • Rapid heart rate
  • High blood pressure

Is There Sugar in Glitch?

Glitch Energy is sugar-free. It’s a good thing because if you happen to take more than 30g of sugar per day, you would feel dizzy and sleepy.

And these effects are the result of a sugar crash. Just imagine if you have already taken a bunch of sugars, and Glitch would add some more. There’s a high tendency to find yourself sleeping instead of gaming energetically, or whatever activity you’re supposed to do that day.

Instead of natural sugars, Glitch uses the artificial sweetener Sucralose. Sucralose is calorie-free and 600 times sweeter than regular sugar, so a little goes a long way.

Artificial sweeteners are FDA-approved and are generally considered to be great alternatives because they’re diet- and diabetic-friendly.

However, it’s still best to moderate your consumption because even artificial sweeteners can cause side effects such as:

  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • High blood pressure
  • Skin Aging

Glitch Flavors

This energy drink has only a few flavors to offer. Here are what they’re called:

  • Sunday Sunrise
  • Electric Lemonade
  • Spaceberry

How Does Glitch Taste?

Every flavor has a unique taste. The Sunday Sunrise tastes like a few tropical fruits I can think of. It’s a great combination of sweets and citrus.

Meanwhile, Electric Lemonade doesn’t have any mineral or acidic taste. It has this nostalgic taste that might make you feel your grandmother made it. For me, this is the best flavor to drink in the morning.

They’re all equally good, but the best one for me is Spaceberry. This flavor is best to drink during late-night gaming. It has this sweet, exciting taste that could keep your sleep away.

Where Can You Buy Glitch?

You’ll have no difficulty getting Glitch Energy. Aside from its availability in most convenience stores, you can also find them on their official website. One stimpack bundle has ten servings inside and that costs only $20.

So for only $2, you can have one serving of this energy drink. While it’s not that affordable, I would say it’s a good thing it’s not that expensive.

How Many Glitch is Safe to Take Per Day?

According to this article, it’s safe to take up to two servings of energy drinks. However, I won’t recommend this.

Simply because one serving of Glitch Energy already works, you won’t need any additional dose. It’ll also help you prevent the side effects of too much caffeine.

According to this study, regularly taking caffeinated beverages can result in caffeine dependency. While it’s safe to drink every day, for this reason, I won’t advise that you take it every day.

This way you’re less likely to become caffeine-dependent.

Alternative Energy Drinks to Glitch

Other than Glitch Energy, other energy drinks have similarities with their contents and taste.

Advocare Spark

Just like Glitch Energy, Advocare Spark comes in the sticks too! It describes itself as an energy drink and recovery drink with an exciting mix of 20 nutrients, minerals, and supplements. Together, these contents convey a sound lift in mental and actual energy.

It also uses sucralose because it doesn’t have any added sugar. Each serving of Advocare Spark Energy drink contains 120mg of caffeine.

It comes in ten unique flavors: Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Limeade, Fruit Punch, Grape, Mandarin Orange, Mango Strawberry, Pink Lemonade, Watermelon, and Green Apple.

On the other hand, the powder of Advocare Spark doesn’t break down well. But this isn’t a significant problem, just make sure to stir it well, and you’re good to go.

A tub of Advocare Spark that includes 42 servings is priced around $55, so it costs around $1.30 per serving.

GURU

Guru Energy has only 100mg caffeine and 21g of sugar content. Despite having less caffeine, it’ll surely give you a strong jolt of energy. This can stand its ground with other caffeinated drinks like Celsius and Red Bull.

It costs around $7.50 for a pack of 4 and $49 for a set of 24. This means that you could spend around $2 per can.

The same with Glitch, $2 is certifiably not a tremendous cost to pay for an extra energy boost. As for its taste, it has a sweet flavor and clear yellowish color. There’s nothing much special about its taste, but the good thing is that it doesn’t taste horrible.

REIZE (My Favorite)

REIZE Energy is packed with only 50mg of caffeine. This amount of caffeine is enough to keep you alert during your gaming sessions without causing any negative side effects.

It comes in a flexible sachet with a gentle lime-like taste and a fine powder quality! While Glitch Energy’s Electric Lemonade is so good, this one is way better.

REIZE Energy Drink
Reine Energy Sachet.

Even though it lacks other vitamins present in Glitch Energy, its complete B Vitamins compensate for this shortcoming. Aside from that, it has other contents such as taurine, inositol, and ginseng.

It contains only 11 calories and no sugar per sachet, so rest assured that no matter what your diet regimen or lifestyle is, REIZE is suitable for you.

You can get REIZE for only around $1 per sachet and you can even have your orders delivered to the comfort of your home.

The Final Say

Overall, I rate Glitch Energy a solid 7/10. I like the way that it’s sugar-free. This keeps up with my goal to just keep my weight as it is. Furthermore, it has only a moderate amount of caffeine.

On another note, it’s also gluten-free, so if your stomach is sensitive to gluten, Glitch Energy would save you from bloating or any stomach aches. But don’t forget only to take what’s necessary and that’s no more than two servings.

While Spaceberry is its most delicious flavor, I would go with Electric Lemonade from time to time. Why? Because it has somewhat similarities to my favorite REIZE!
