Shocking Truth: Our Review of Rip It Energy Drink Revealed

Shocking Truth: Our Review of Rip It Energy Drink Revealed

The National Beverage Corporation of America owns Rip It Energy drink. It’s a carbonated beverage in a 16 fl. oz can with a moderate amount of caffeine and calories. However, its high sugar content did raise my eyebrows.

Moreover, Rip It Energy also has the Rip It Shots version. This version comes in 12 fl oz bottles and is advertised to be a dietary supplement. If you find a 16 fl oz a lot, you can also try these shots.

Based on my experience, both versions seemed to have great taste and provided an incredible boost. My personal favorite would be the Citrus and Tribute flavor, because of their unique taste appeal without any storage aftertaste.

How Strong is Rip It Energy Drink?

In my opinion, Rip It energy drink is very strong. This is because Rip It has caffeine that can stimulate you mentally and physically.

Although it doesn’t directly help as a source of energy, it does an excellent job of giving a pleasant feeling. According to this study, it helps improve your alertness levels. That’s a different thing from just being awake.

However, the caffeine content in Rip It Energy varies per flavor. It ranges from 80mg to 160mg of caffeine, and the shot version of Rip has 100mg of caffeine.

While it doesn’t belong in the strongest energy drinks available on the market, its caffeine offers the following benefits:

  • Boosting weight loss
  • Enhancing sports performance
  • Boosting long-term memory
  • Protecting against kidney stones
  • Lowering the risk of cancers

However, too much caffeine can lead to serious health issues. This is why the FDA strongly advises that you only take 400mg of caffeine per day. Otherwise, you may suffer from the following:

  • High blood pressure
  • Insomnia
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Addiction
  • Fast heart rate
  • Muscle breakdown
  • Fatigue

Furthermore, it has inositol, taurine, and guarana seed extract to help your muscles and immune systems.

What Happens If You Drink a Can Of Rip It Energy?

In my case, I felt more alert after drinking a can of Rip It energy drink. Its caffeine definitely worked and gave me a lot of energy to complete my daily goals.

However, if you take this energy drink if you’re already tired, there’s a high chance you’ll experience caffeine crashes. But it’s still a good energy drink to have if you plan to work out and meet strict deadlines.

Where Can You Buy Rip It?

You’ll have access to Rip It in most grocery stores if you’re based in the US. However, if you can’t seem to find it anywhere, it’s also available on online platforms.

Like other energy drinks, you can buy Rip It on their website. In addition, it’s also available on Amazon and Walmart.

You can buy a 24-pack of Rip It on their website for $30. But I was surprised to see that on Amazon, a 24-pack costs around $61, not including shipping fees! That’s a big difference.

Does Rip It Taste Good?

My overall experience is that Rip It has a very smooth and flavorful taste!

There are many flavors of Rip It energy drink. I think it has one for every type of person. I’ll discuss some of its flavors in the next section.

Flavors Of Rip It Energy Drink

If you like berries, you should try its F-Bomb, three-way, and Power flavors. These flavors are induced with berries, and you won’t doubt their presence on the drink. Plus, you can also taste a hit of soda, which makes it a better option than Monster for me.

Meanwhile, Rip It Energy also has a flavor inspired by other fruits, such as Atomic Pom, which has pomegranate. And the LeMoan’R with raspberry lemonade. You can feel their kick a little earlier than you should expect, but maybe it’s also because of their exciting taste.

If you want to go tropical, you should try Shot Poo!tin Power, which tastes like coconut and mango. Personally, a better upgrade of this flavor is the Stinger Mo and Tribute flavors.

Because you can find a combination of every typical tropical, you can think of in it. The only difference is Tribute has a dominant wild lime flavor.

And if you like Citrus, you’ll be happy to know that they have this flavor too. Furthermore, they also gave grape flavor called G-Force, and for strawberry, they have Red-Zone.

On the other hand, Code Blue (Mixed berry) and Freek are only available in Rip It Shots. The Freek flavor tastes like bloody oranges, and it’s the sweetest drink on this line.

All of these flavors have no weird aftertaste! That’s what makes them better than other energy drinks.

In case you’re wondering, some are also available in sugar-free versions, such as Power and F-Bomb. The taste isn’t as great as the ones with sugar, though.

Rip It Cans Review.

How Long Does Rip It Energy Drinks Last?

If it’s still unopened, one can last about 6 to 9 months after its production date. Just make sure that it’s properly stored.

You need to store it in a room that has a moderate temperature. Make sure to check the date of the expiry date to be sure it isn’t fake, and you’re not making up expiry guesses.

However, if you have opened it already, consume it within the day. This would ensure its quality and safety too. If you take more than a sip, you’ll be able to experience its effects after 30 minutes.

How Many Rip It Cans Is Safe to Take Per Day?

According to this article, it’s safe to take up to two cans of energy drinks. However, that’s only applicable if you are healthy and not under any medication.

Besides, Rip It has moderate caffeine and a high amount of sugar. Don’t you know that you should only take 30g of sugar per day to avoid sugar crashes? Rip It has 26g already, which is a red flag to take more than one serving on the same day.

Alternative Energy Drinks to Rip It

Here are some energy drinks you can try if you don’t find Rip It that good.

C4 Energy

My first suggestion would be a C4 energy drink. Some versions of this beverage have 120-300mg of caffeine. The original variant of this notable pre-workout drink has 300mg of caffeine.

It allows you more options to decide how much energy you want. And how much energy your body needs. I recommend you go with the one with the least amount of caffeine.

Nevertheless, they all contain loads of B nutrients and amino acids that can assist you with performing better genuinely.

Rockstar

Like Rip It, Rockstar contains 160mg of caffeine and 24g of sugar. The sugar content is only 2g lower than Rip It. It’s also loaded with guarana, ginseng, and B Vitamins!

Rockstar can give you the considerable lift you’re searching for. Constantly monitor the number of Rockstar you previously had, and try not to blend it in with other caffeinated items.

REIZE (The Best)

REIZE comes in a 4g sachet with just 50mg of caffeine. It’s also sugar-free with only a few calories. This makes me worry-free regardless of whether I want to take another serving.

Reize Sachet poured in a glass

Also, it has B-Complex, taurine, and ginseng, which improves the effects by another 100 percent. Plus, REIZE comes in handy sachets that I can take with me anywhere. Imagine whipping up a fresh glass whenever you want!

You can buy REIZE for just around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped to your home. That’s amazing value for your money.

Try REIZE now to experience its gentle taste that could lift up your energy levels!

Bottomline

Overall, I give Rip It Energy Drink a 7 out of 10 rating. I like the way it doesn’t contain any strange aftertaste, and it packs nutrients, of course.

I’m just not fond of its sugar content. Plus, the caffeine could be too much for you if you’re not used to taking caffeinated beverages.

That said, you can always go with Rip It Shots to be safe. The only disadvantage would be you’ll have limited flavor options.

Nevertheless, when it comes to the energy and taste experience, I have no problem with Rip It energy at all.
