Unleashing the Power: Raze Energy Drink Review

Raze Energy is a product of REPP Sports, a famous energy drink giant from the USA.

They’re marketed as a pre-workout energy drink for bodybuilders, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts for enhanced performance.

Raze Energy features the ReFRESH technology that is formulated to enhance five core elements of your health and well-being including (F)Focus, (R)Recovery, (E)Energy, (S)Stamina, and (H)Hydration. However, it does contain a pretty high amount of caffeine which can be detrimental to your long-term health.

Overall, it’s a pretty decent drink and definitely worth the try!

Still, read on for my take on Raze Energy to find out if it’s deserving of the hype.

Is Raze Energy Good For Your Health?

In the long term, I’d say Raze Energy is not good for your health.

However, if you aim to consume Raze in moderation considering you a healthy individual, then it could be a beneficial energy drink for you.

The drink keeps its carbs, calories, and sugar at zero, ideal for those who are watching their weight. In place of sugar, the drink uses artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and acesulfame potassium, Ace-K.

However, no B Vitamins or any type of vitamins for that matter, are listed on the nutrition label of the product, unlike most other energy drinks. The drink does contain taurine as a special ingredient to boost energy levels.

It’s not a bad addition to your diet, but remember moderation is key!

Is Raze Energy A Suitable Pre-Workout Drink?

If you’re an avid sportsperson or bodybuilder looking to improve endurance and would appreciate an extra boost during your workout session, you might want to give Raze a try.

Raze Energy is also packed with electrolytes and BCAAs that aid in rapid hydration and post-workout muscle recovery.

Electrolytes help regulate and replenish fluid levels in the body while BCAAs reduce muscle soreness and promote muscle growth. You can find out more about BCAAs in Raze Energy and what they do in this post that I previously wrote.

When should I drink Raze?

The best time to drink Raze Energy is 20 to 30 minutes before your exercise or workout session.

This will give the body to absorb the caffeine and get you energised throughout your workout or exercise session.

Moreover, it is not ideal to consume Raze Energy or any caffeinated drink in the afternoon or before bedtime as it may ruin your sleep.

If you’re asking if Raze Energy will actually make you feel energised, check out my article here.

Where Can You Buy Raze Energy Drinks?

In the US, you can use the Store Locator feature on the product’s official website to find stores where you can purchase Raze Energy.

If you prefer online purchases to get your stack of energy drinks, simply place an order on the official website.

Alternatively, you can try other websites such as GNC or Amazon to shop for the Raze as well.

Raze Energy Review: Caffeine

How much caffeine does a can of Raze Energy have?

There’s 300mg of caffeine in a 16fl.oz can of Raze Energy. The drink might be a little too much for those with a lower caffeine tolerance.

If you’re not mindful of your daily caffeine intake, you can easily go over the recommended safe limit of no more than 400mg per day. You can definitely find an equally if not better-tasting energy drink out there with a much safer caffeine dose.

Research has shown that low-to-moderate caffeine dosages have the same improved performance in trained athletes as higher caffeine dosages.

Raze Energy would probably make an occasional drink instead of the one you have on a daily basis.

Effects of Caffeine on Energy Drinks

Raze Energy Review: Taste

Are the flavours really that good?

I must say they actually are. If I had to pick a favourite, I’d go with Galaxy Burst. It has a fruity, starburst candy-like flavour that tastes really clean and smooth.

There are ten different flavours of Raze Energy you can choose from. It’s refreshing to be able to taste a variety of fruity flavours under the single brand range.

You might enjoy the hint of citrus that comes with every sip. Switch up the flavours as you please to suit your taste buds!

With sucralose and Ace-K replacing sugar, you’ll still get the desired sweetness but at a healthier level that keeps the calories low.

Raze Energy Review: Effects

Does Raze Energy Work?

Yes, I personally think so. It sure does give the energy boost you need to focus and get pumped up.

Having said that, you should bear in mind that different people respond differently to caffeine and energy drinks.

There are a number of factors that contribute to that, namely your genetics, metabolism, and age. Fun fact; your sex plays a role too!

A previous study conducted showed that men and women have different physiological and subjective responses to caffeine.

Raze Energy contains both caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate. While it is common for most energy drinks to contain caffeine anhydrous, it’s rare to have caffeine citrate added in as well.

This may explain the time-released caffeine effect that enhances performance for extended hours following consumption.

Does Raze Energy make you crash?

The caffeine content is very high and I was a tiny bit concerned about whether or not I’d experience any after-effects.

To my delight, it was smooth sailing. I definitely felt more energetic during my workout session and was able to push more reps with more power.

There was no crash, no jitters, no palpitations and I felt pretty good throughout the day.

However, my advice is that it’d be best to proceed with caution. Listen to your body and know your limits.

Try starting out with energy drinks with a lower caffeine dosage to be safe.

Raze Energy Review: Price

A 16 fl. oz can of Raze Energy costs around $2.50 to $3 depending on where you get it.

There are promo codes you can find available online if you want to purchase them at a bargain.

Do take into consideration the shipping costs and waiting time if you buy your Raze Energy drinks online.

How good are Raze Energy drinks?

Raze Energy is one of the best energy drinks on the market today. I’d say Raze is as equally good as Monster, Rockstar and Bang.

However, it’ll depend on your preferences in terms of caffeine. As a fair warning, you shouldn’t go for Raze Energy if you’re tolerance to caffeine is low.

Check this article for a fact check if Raze Energy is good or bad for you.
