MIXT Energy Drink: An In-Depth Review with Additional Info

Ever since the MIXT Energy supplement was established in 2005, it has been developing its reputation as the primary go-to energy drink for gamers. The brand claims to have an efficient, nutritious, and delicious formula.

Looking at MIXT Energy’s nutritional label, you can see that it contains zero calories and zero sugar. Every serving contains essential vitamins that optimize your brain capacity and take care of your health.

In my opinion, MIXT does a great job of fulfilling its promises, and it’s a very handy energy drink to tote around too! However, you should be extra careful with its higher-than-usual caffeine content.

For a more in-depth review, read my full article! I’ll be discussing all the aspects that make MIXT a solid choice—and which ingredients you’ll have to take note of.

Let’s dive in!

Mixt Energy Ingredients and Nutritional Value

First off, let’s take a brief look at its nutritional value and ingredients. Every serving of MIXT has the following:

ElementsAmount Per Serving
Caffeine Anhydrous166mg
L-Taurine830mg
L-Tyrosine830mg
Vitamin B38mg
Vitamin B68mg
Vitamin B1216mcg
Here is the amount per ingredient of MIXT

Aside from that, you can also find these elements in MIXT.

There are three B vitamins in MIXT. These are niacin, pyridoxine, and cobalamin. All of these are needed to produce energy for the body.

Aside from that, they also contribute to improving your brain cells, contributing to good mental performance.

L-taurine is known as a mind stimulator. This may be the reason why most energy drinks have this element. It is also useful to the physiological process of your heart, eyes, and brain.

Aside from L-taurine as a stimulator, Caffeine Anhydrous is also present in MIXT. If you’re wondering what caffeine anhydrous is, basically, it’s just like regular caffeine. But more concentrated.

This means it’s stronger in terms of its effect. One teaspoon of caffeine anhydrous is like taking 28 cups of coffee. It also means only a tiny amount of caffeine anhydrous is used to make energy drinks like MIXT.

Nevertheless, you must take all types of caffeine at a safe limit.

Here’s how you prepare MIXT.

Are Dietary Supplements Safe?

Yes. All energy drinks fall under the category of dietary supplements. Therefore, they both play the same purpose and give your body energy for your future adventures.

There has been a study that shows it can lead to serious health effects. Mainly when used by children and young adults. It is proven to improve physical endurance but does not have that much impact on muscle strength.

Everything is good in moderation. Since MIXT has 166mg of caffeine, consuming up to two mixes per day is still safe. However, I would advise you to keep it to one serving per day because 332mg is just cutting it too close.

According to these studies, you should limit your energy drink consumption to 1 or a maximum of 2 servings per day. Considering that it won’t get past the 400mg suggested caffeine intake of the FDA

Going overboard can make you suffer side effects. You can read more about it in this article

Is Mixt Energy FDA-approved?

In general, dietary supplements don’t need to be approved by the FDA. This is because supplements aren’t for curing, preventing, or treating any diseases.

You can still rest assured it is safe as the FDA requires guidelines to follow regarding ingredients and other substances.

Where Can I Buy MIXT?

You can buy a tub of MIXT energy drinks from their official website. However, MIXT is also available on online platforms like Amazon and eBay.

Its price runs from around $28 to $30 only. You can get a tub of MIXT for this price, which includes around 60 servings of the energy drink.

You might also get a discount if you order on their official website. In addition to that, you could also buy their gaming controller shaker from there.

Of course, when you order online, you need to pay the shipping fee. I prefer to buy MIXT online as there’s no hassle on my part and it’s delivered straight to my door.

MIXT Flavors

Here are the flavors of MIXT energy. Feel free to read my personal views on deciding what you would get for yourself.

  • Fruit Punch
  • Watermelon Rush
  • Rainbow Candy
  • Sour Slurp
  • Starfruit Blast
  • Orange Sherbet
  • Grape Popsicle
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Fresh Lemonade

What Does Mixt Taste Like?

I want to share with you my views or, in other words, my taste in MIXT flavors.

Fruit Punch – The Fruit Punch flavor doesn’t taste like fruit punch at all. You can taste a hint of color candy and gummy bears with this one. I guess I’m not a fan of those.

Watermelon Rush – This flavor tastes decent and natural. I recommend this if you’re a gamer who is new to energy drinks. It’s not that strong but effective.

Rainbow Candy -I would recommend Rainbow Candy because it doesn’t cause me any sugar crashes.

Sour Slurp – Sour Slurp tastes a little low to be called sour. Plus, its effects don’t hit right away. I think it’ll be better to mix this with the other sweet flavors.

Starfruit Blast – The same with Sour Slurp. I didn’t feel a massive burst of energy instantly, but it did not make me feel jittery after the effects had worn out. The taste is also good!

Orange Sherbet – For me, this drink is best consumed during the mornings. It gave me energy for my morning jog right, and it tastes good also. However, I’m not a fan of oranges.

Grape Popsicle- This flavor tastes great like grapes. Plus, you can really smell the grapes on the powder.

Blue Raspberry – Its taste was quite sweet and simple. And you only need a single serving for it to work.

Fresh Lemonade – The MIXT Fresh Lemonade is, by far, the most refreshing flavor MIXT has. It also has a sweet taste, so I guess you can try mixing it with other flavors like Sour Slurp, and you’ll notice it’ll produce a balanced taste.

Alternative Energy Drinks to MIXT

If you’ve already tried MIXT, and you’re on the lookout for more, don’t fret. Here are a few more powdered drinks you might want to try:

Other Powdered Energy Drinks
Here are more options for you.

G FUEL

If you’re not sure about MIXT, you can go with G FUEL. After all, these two brands are often compared.

Aside from the fact that they are both powdered drinks, they also compete in their performance boost. This means they are both effective gaming energy drinks.

G Fuel has lots of flavors. Its flavors are all good and won’t leave your mouth with a nasty taste. I especially love its fruit punch flavor.

Energy-wise it does help me concentrate, but just for a short span of time. However, you and I are not the same, so maybe this could work for you. You can first try sour slurp and fruit punch for the record because I find them so good.

Sneak Energy

In terms of price, I think Sneak Energy is quite affordable. It also comes with a cute metal shaker.

Sneak Energy comes with 150mg of caffeine. For me, the amount is not that high. It also has only 12 calories and is sugar-free. It also comes in exciting flavors.

I prefer the Sneak Cherry Bomb flavor because it tastes sweet. If you want something sour you might want to try their sour apple.

Although I’m not a fan of sour flavors, I find this one pretty intriguing as you might want to go for another cup even though you’re not into sour much.

Now, when it comes to energy drinks, my favorites are those that are versatile and can be mixed anyplace. The ice in the Sneak Shaker won’t melt for hours thanks to the superior insulation it has. This might be helpful for those who just want to take a little drink break every so often.

REIZE (10 out of 10)

For me, the best energy drink I can suggest to you is REIZE.

Every 4g sachet of REIZE has 50mg of caffeine, a small amount of caffeine. But don’t be dismayed. That amount could be small, but it is still powerful to give you a good energy boost for the day. Plus, you won’t need to worry about overdosing on caffeine!

The thing I like about this powdered drink is that its flavor is both mild and tasty. And apart from that, it also contains nutrients like taurine, ginseng, and B vitamins.

A single sachet can cost just around $1, and you can even have your orders shipped to your home! You can also carry the sachets in your pocket and mix them when you need a quick boost.

Try REIZE now and discover the best energy drink you’ll ever taste.

Other Notable Mentions

I must say powdered energy drinks are quite the same as canned energy drinks minus the form. If you like powdered energy drinks, you can also try the following canned energy drinks:

Final Say

All in all, MIXT is a good option. It’s comparable to G Fuel and the other energy drinks I mentioned. Its packaging is quite lovely as well. All in all, worth a try!

MIXT Energy drinks also offer a wide range of flavors to choose from. This energy drink isn’t flashy, but you can lean on it for the effects and the boost you might need.

It usually comes in 200g tubs with a whopping 60 servings. In addition to that, its price is quite affordable compared to other energy drinks.

That’s all. I hope you’ll try this one to see for yourself!
