Calories in Lotus Plant Energy

Each serving of Lotus Plant Energy has five calories.

Calories are one of the essential sources of energy absorbed by your body. The number of calories you consume determines how much energy you have; therefore, more calories = more energy.

The quantity in Lotus Plant Energy is sufficient to provide you with extra energy while allowing you to consume more calorie-dense foods.

However, it is important to keep in mind that consuming more calories than necessary, without burning them off, can contribute to weight gain, which if left unchecked, can lead to obesity.

Sugar in Lotus Plant Energy

Each serving of Lotus Plant Energy contains 2 grams of sugar from sugar cane.

According to Research, a 12-ounce cola drink has around 39 grams of sugar, whereas an energy drink has approximately 41 grams of sugar.

While high-sugar energy drinks may give you a boost of energy for 45 minutes, they might leave you with a sugar crash in an hour or two. Lotus Plant Energy is such a low sugar content that you won’t experience any type of crash, let alone the negative side effects of sugar.

Sodium in Lotus Plant Energy

Each serving of Lotus Plant Energy contains 160 grams of sodium.

If the sodium content of the meal is provided on the label rather than the salt content, multiply the value by 2.5% to get an approximation of the salt content.

Maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance during exercise is aided by adding salt to sports drinks.

Lotus Plant Energy has a modest quantity of sodium per serving, considerably below the recommended level, which I think can have a good effect on performance due to an increase in blood electrolyte content.

Flavors of Lotus Energy

The flavors of Lotus Plant Energy have been given below.

  • White Lotus
  • Red Lotus
  • Blue Lotus
  • Pink Lotus
  • Purple Lotus

In my experience, the Red Lotus felt a lot like a tart made of cherry. It includes the sweet and sour smell of cherry and is red in color. It tasted so different from other energy drinks, very fruity and enjoyable flavor with a sweet aftertaste.

The other flavor I tasted was the Blue Lotus which tasted very much like blue raspberry mixed acai. Although I am quite fond of berries, having mixed them with acai just didn’t go well with my taste bud.

But don’t let this stop you from tasting this flavor as it often varies from individual to individual.
