Kanguru Energy Drink: An Unbiased Review and Verdict

Kanguru Energy Drink: An Unbiased Review and Verdict

We can’t deny the fact that the Kanguru energy drink has taken over the market with its natural citrus, pomegranate, and green apple flavors.

Produced in Australia, the brand’s groundbreaking blend is now being recognized on a worldwide scale, being nominated for two international medals just under six months after its release.

Of course, I just had to try Kanguru!

Here’s my verdict: the drink has a somewhat striking and peculiar taste that might take some getting used to, but I do like that it has herbal components, low caffeine, and zero sugar content.

Keep reading if you’re interested to learn more about my experience with this energy drink!

If you look closely you will find out that Kanguru contains 0% sugar and is infused with herbal components that may help with a person’s overall wellness, sharp cognition, and fast recovery or repair of cells in the body.

Because of this advantage, we can conclude that Kanguru is one of the top healthiest energy drinks, above those energy drinks that are sugar-laden.

Maybe it’s just me but since it includes a unique combination of Chinese, Korean, and South American botanicals, it is a unique kind of energy drink, one that is intricate and sophisticated.

What Does Kanguru Taste Like?

Kanguru is known for its tangy fruity flavor, which may be the reason it became one of the preferred energy drink choices of professional athletes.

Although, for me, its rich flavor did not immediately appeal to my taste buds – and there are numerous remarks, comments, and reviews on the internet made by other people who have experienced the same. But when you get accustomed to its taste, you will probably like it too.

But still, I find the flavor of this energy drink to be distinct and incomparable. It’s unique because of its sweetness, which is not overbearing in the way that other energy drinks are, which tends to mask the flavor of other components in the process.

Taste aside, the components and benefits of this energy drink in terms of its ability to raise energy levels were fantastic and delightful.

Flavors of Kanguru Energy Drink

Kanguru Energy Drink was originally launched with two kinds of blends and three different fruity flavors to choose from. The two blends are Wellness Blend and Energy Blend. The three flavors are the following:

  • Kanguru Wellness Blend – Green Apple
  • Kanguru Energy Blend – Natural Citrus
  • Kanguru Energy Blend – Mixed Berry & Pomegranate

According to their website, the Mixed Berry and Pomegranate formulation is the sweetest and tastiest among the three, with an 8-out-of-10 formula rating.

Green apple gets a score of 5 out of 10 while natural citrus gets a 3 out of 10. Many customers have made the move to Kanguru because of its delicious flavors. Some people have given it a shot out of curiosity, while others have stuck around due to personal preferences in flavor.

Price of Kanguru Energy Drink

I find the price of Kanguru Energy Drink a bit pricey. The price of 24 cans in 300 ml servings will cost you a total of about $68 but you can get it for around $3 a can if you won’t buy it in bulk.

Suppose you want to try out Kanguru immediately and you’re not in Australia. In that case, you can also find them on online shopping sites because it’s available for immediate delivery via a variety of sources, including:

  • Kanguru’s official website
  • Amazon
  • eBay

Alternatives to Kanguru

If you find Kanguru as an expensive energy drink, don’t worry because there are a lot of good alternatives that might suit you well.

Mother Energy Drink

The brand Mother Energy is also locally made in Australia. It is available in 500 ml cans and contains 160 mg of caffeine as well as 51 g of sugar.

Nonetheless, if you don’t want that amount of sugar added to your diet, don’t worry because it is also available in sugar-free variants.

In terms of providing an energy boost, Mother Energy Drink can give you a pleasant energy increase without leaving you feeling agitated.

However, given the high caffeine and sugar content of Mother, it is recommended that you consume it in moderation and you must engage in physical activity after you drink it to burn off the excess calories.

V Energy Drink

V Energy is an energy drink created by Frucor and developed in New Zealand and Australia. An invigorating blend of B vitamins, caffeine, and guarana, V is the ideal way to get your morning off to a solid start.

Many people like this drink because of its excellent, unique taste that will give you a rush of energy. With V, you’ll get more out of your day.

Here are other energy drinks that are also popular in Australia:

REIZE (The Best)

Are you still hoping to find an energy drink that is minimal in sugar and calories but will still get you going?

Well, look no further! REIZE might just be the perfect drink that you’ve been waiting for.

REIZE is a fantastic powdered energy drink brand. With each 4g sachet containing a practical 50 mg of caffeine and no sugar, and just 11 calories per serving, it gives you that boost without giving you any side effects such as crashes and stomach pain.

Other than that, this energy drink also features several additional therapeutic components, such as taurine, ginseng, and B-group vitamins, which are all blended into the formula.

Similarly, these ingredients are blended in a clever combination to provide the optimum boost without the terrible jitters afterward.

The coolest part is that you can get REIZE delivered to your house for as little as around $1 per drink. That’s amazing value for your money!

So now, go ahead and try REIZE for yourself! I’m confident you’ll agree that it’s a superior alternative to the Kanguru energy drink!

Final Thoughts

Overall, I think the Kanguru Energy drink is a viable option for those who are looking for an effective energy drink. Kanguru is also a vegan-friendly alternative, which is a big bonus.

You shouldn’t be concerned about all of the botanicals in the drink since they are all-natural, and the taurine is synthetic, which means that it is not derived from animals. Furthermore, because of its sufficient vitamin content, it is an incredible choice for athletes of all levels of expertise.

All in all, I’d give the drink a 7/10. While it’s not really a big crowdpleaser for me, I do appreciate that the drink’s contents are well-thought-out and have a low risk for negative side effects.
