How Much Caffeine Does 3D Energy Have?

You’ll find 200mg of caffeine in a 16 fl. oz (473ml) can of 3D Energy.

Personally, this is more than what I’d like to have for my caffeine dose. I usually keep up to around 50mg to 100mg of caffeine per serving each time I have an energy drink. I feel this is a sufficient amount to energise myself while avoiding the side effects of consuming too much caffeine.

However, this may or may not be suitable for you.

So feel free to decide how much caffeine you’re comfortable taking in your energy drink. Make sure to stay within the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s guidelines which state that you should consume a maximum of 400mg of caffeine per day.

As long as you’re a healthy individual, this daily limit will serve you well. But if you have any ongoing health problems or have caffeine sensitivity, then you may need to consume less caffeine than this.

Assuming you followed the daily quota of 400mg of caffeine, it would mean that you can drink up to two cans of 3D Energy per day.

But I really wouldn’t suggest doing that unless you are confident that this is the only source of caffeine you are having for the whole day.

This is because there is often caffeine in a lot of other food and drinks that you consume every day.

Examples of other sources of caffeine include:

  • Tea
  • Soda
  • Chocolate
  • Non-prescription medicine (such as cough syrup and slimming tablets)

How Much Sugar Is In 3D Energy?

I have great news for you: 3D Energy is completely sugar-free.

When you drink this energy drink, you’ll never have to worry about sugar crashes or be concerned about how additional sugar intake will affect your body.

Instead, 3D Energy drink contains an artificial sweetener, sucralose and ace-K which are often used as a replacement for sugar in lots of processed foods nowadays. It is said to be a zero-calorie artificial sweetener that is 600 times sweeter than sugar.

Are There Any Artificial Sweeteners And/Or Preservatives In 3D Energy?

Yes, 3D Energy Drink does contain artificial sweeteners and preservatives.

Artificial sweeteners and preservatives are usually safe when consumed in reasonable amounts.

These non-nutritive sweeteners have gone through extensive lab testing before they are certified as safe for you to consume.

But at the same time, if you consume too much of them, it can cause you health problems such as:

  • diarrhea
  • bloating
  • intestinal gas

The FDA website actually gives a rundown on this and details the acceptable daily intake of artificial sweeteners.

Sodium benzoate is one of the preservatives found in 3D Energy drinks. It is used to prevent food spoilage caused by bacteria and fungus, thus allowing the drink to be kept for longer periods.

However, preservatives can also be bad for you too. For example, it can cause the weakening of heart tissues, breathing difficulties, obesity, and in some cases, cancer as well.

In conclusion, I would say that it really isn’t wise to have too much 3D Energy in your diet. But if you consume it in moderation, there really shouldn’t be any negative impact on your health.

Is 3D Energy Bad For Your Health?

3D Energy wouldn’t be bad for your health if consumed in moderation.

If you consume too much of it, you might end up with a caffeine addiction and other adverse effects.

Drinking it for the occasional energy boost would certainly not cause this. It’s only if you made it a part of your daily diet that you would need to be careful.

Just keep the FDA’s recommended daily caffeine limit of 400mg in mind at all times.

Watch out for these symptoms as it could mean that you had too much caffeine:

  • dizziness
  • diarrhea
  • increased thirst
  • insomnia
  • headaches
  • fever
  • irritability

These are signs of caffeine overdose and if you are experiencing any of these, it might be wise to cut back on your caffeine consumption, and this includes your 3D Energy drinks. You may even need to pay a visit to the doctor.

Is 3D Energy Good For Your Health?

Well, the answer to this question is rather subjective. While it doesn’t really hurt you to have a can of 3D Energy, it’s hard to tell whether it actually benefits your health in any tangible way.

We could all sometimes use a little booster to help us cope with the demands of life, and an energy drink is a viable solution for some of us. It’s fairly affordable, and the effects of drinking it can be felt fairly quickly.

There are some vitamins and minerals listed in the ingredients of 3D Energy (namely iron, vitamin D, calcium, potassium, and a whole host of various B vitamins), so in that sense, you should be getting some nutrition from there.

But as for whether the quantities of these nutrients in 3D Energy are significant enough to actually improve your health, it’s really difficult to say.

Just be careful not to overindulge in 3D Energy such that you end up facing the consequences of excessive caffeine and it outweighs any benefits you will get from the nutrients in this energy drink.

How Much 3D Energy Can You Safely Drink?

Drink a maximum of one can of 3D Energy a day to be on the safe side.

If you were to drink two cans of 3D Energy, you would already be reaching the FDA’s daily caffeine limit of 400mg.

So, just to be on the safe side, you might want to stick to one can of 3D Energy in a day.

This is because, as I mentioned earlier, you may already be consuming caffeine from other food and drink sources in your daily diet.

Better safe than sorry, I’d say.

For the record, here’s how much the FDA recommends you take your caffeine.

AgeRecommended Daily Amount
Kids60-80 mg
Teenagers 100 mg
18 and above400 mg
