Glytch Review: Essential Insights You Must Know

Glytch Review: Essential Insights You Must Know

Glytch is a powdered energy drink that has 175mg of caffeine. It contains only a few calories, but it has additional vitamins that could help you get energy and healthy. Some of its famous nutrients are Vitamin Bs, l-theanine, bilberry, and more.

You can purchase Glytch in tubs or sachets. Both have a sleek and neat design and the same nutritional value.

Personally, I find all of its flavors equally tasty and unique from one another. Some of it has minor issues for me, though. The sachet version is a bit more convenient for me compared to buying tubs.

I’m guessing it’s because the sachet version is more popular than those of the tubs. Anyway, you’re probably curious to know more about this energy drink.

Let’s get into the details.

How does one sachet looks?

Is Glytch Energy Any Good?

Yes, it is. Considering the number of ingredients it has, it should be. It’s an ideal gaming supplement that’s perfect for your favorite game.

If you’re at the front of your PC for long hours, Glytch can help you protect your vision. I appreciate the way Glytch has nutrients that can protect your eyes.

As you can see on its nutrition facts, it has Lutein, Zeaxanthin, and Bibles. According to this study, Lutein is used to avoid age-related macular disease. This kind of disease is a typical cause of vision impairment, including blindness.

On the other hand, Zeaxanthin and Bilberry keep your eyes away from harmful light waves. That’s a big help for hours of screen time.

In my case, even after two hours of continuous gaming, I didn’t feel any effects on my eyes.

Is Glytch Energy Safe?

If you’re healthy and don’t have any medical conditions, it should be safe for you. On top of that, Glitch claims to be gluten-free and vegan-friendly.

You can really make sure it was formulated with its fans’ welfare in mind. If you have any allergies to soy or dairy, don’t worry. It doesn’t have these ingredients.

On the other hand, if you’re worried because it has an artificial sweetener, you shouldn’t be. Sucralose is safe to use as approved by the FDA. Besides, this makes it suitable for those with diabetes because it has no additional calories.

It’s also a good combination of the mentioned fruit powders to enhance effectiveness.

Is Glytch Energy a Pre-workout?

Somewhat. This energy claims to be a mild pre-workout energy drink. Maybe it’s because of its low caffeine, considering that most pre-workout drinks have 300mg of caffeine and higher.

This is a good start if you want to begin trying pre-workout drinks. It’ll give you an introduction to a new kind of beverage and some sort.

As you may know, caffeine is one of the common elements you can find in pre-workout drinks. It’s a famous stimulant that can help your brain wakefulness. But, it would be best if you weren’t really taking lots of dosage of it.

Besides, according to the FDA, you’re only allowed to take 400mg of caffeine per day. You can think of this as four cups of your daily coffee. And while some of you are used to taking this lot of caffeine every day, it could lead to caffeine addiction which isn’t any good for your health.

This is one of the grounds why I usually prefer energy drinks with only 50-100mg of caffeine. But don’t worry, I don’t think the caffeine in Glytch could lead you to suffer an overdose for as long as you consume only one serving of it.

I didn’t feel any jitters with it as well. Nevertheless, the following are what you’d likely feel if you’ll suffer from caffeine overdose :

  • Headaches
  • Fever
  • Palpitations
  • Irritability
  • Nervousness

Glytch’s packaging is more like pre-workout energy drinks too.

About flavor, it is tasty, but I cannot really say if you’ll go crazy over it. The powder mixes consistently fine as long as you don’t rush stirring it and it seemed pretty enjoyable.

How Does Glytch Energy Work?

Glytch works perfectly fine. I think it made its “mild pre-workout” name a real deal. It has a good blend of ingredients, but they don’t come off as super-strong unless you take more than one serving. And unless you’re new to energy drinks.

You should take one sachet or scoop first to entirely assess its effects on your body. While it’s a bit short in providing an energy boost, it’ll give you a great mental focus.

It’s evident on its label that you have to wait for around 20-40 minutes to feel its effect. However, in my experience, it takes about 40 minutes before it kicks it. When it arrives, the good thing is that your waiting isn’t wasted.

How Does Glytch Taste?

All flavors are equally tasty with their twist. The Rainbow Magik tastes like a fruit punch, the same with Tropic Thunder. But with Tropic Thunder, there is a combination of sweet and sour taste, which I find attractive.

Pink Lemonade and Cotton Candy is the flavor most suited during the mornings. It gives off a smooth and sweet vibe that could make your day bright. On the other hand, Rocket Pop and Aim Assist have this taste vibe that’s perfect for late-night gaming.

Slaughter Melon is actually made from watermelons. It’s like the pink starburst chewy candy. You can have this flavor if you have a sweet tooth and the Sour Grape Ape.

This flavor, Sucker Punch, smells outstanding. Next to it would be Sour Bomb, which tastes better than Sucker Punch on another note.

However, I expected more punch from Sucker Punch because of its name, but it didn’t fulfill my expectations.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t say I like Blood orange the least, along with Falcon Smash and Ber-A-Si. Although they taste nice, they just taste common.

By the way, the Blood Orange flavor has a weird chemical taste out of the mentioned drinks.

Where Can You Buy Glytch Energy?

You can buy Glytch energy on their website or in any convenience store. One tub is composed of 40 servings and costs around $35 on Amazon.

This means that you can have one serving for only less than a dollar! However, that could still change with regards to the delivery fee.

Alternative Energy Drinks

I’ll discuss some energy drinks that you may try in the next sections. In case, you want to see my pre-workout drinks list, check out my separate article here.

Glitch Energy

This might confuse you with Glytch. They are both powdered energy drinks, but their makers are totally different. But before I forget, Glitch Energy is a gaming beverage too.

Both may have fewer calories and no sugar, but this one has only 150mg of caffeine. It isn’t that far from Glytch’s caffeine content, though. It’s available in three enjoyable flavors. You should try the Electric Lemonade one because that’s my best pick when it comes to this brand.

It’s made explicitly for a gamer that needs an improved performance and focus. You can buy Glitch for only $2 per stick!

Advocare Spark

Advocare Spark is also a powdered energy drink that could give you a jolt of energy and upgraded mental performance. It also has many nutrients and minerals that make it ideal for a recovery drink.

It also uses sucralose, and each stick has only 120mg of caffeine. It’s available in 10 flavors that you can purchase at $2 per stick. While it’s also tasty, you might experience an odd texture on its powder if you don’t dilute it properly.

REIZE (Top Pick)

For me, nothing is better than REIZE. It’s packed with only 50mg of caffeine. This amount of caffeine is adequate to keep you alert during your gaming sessions without causing any adverse side effects.

It contains additional nutrients from ginseng, B-Complex, and taurine. There’s no way for you to miss anything as REIZE is a flexible companion too.

Reize Energy Drink

You can also use it as a gaming buddy because you can mix it anywhere you want. It tastes good whether in hot or cold water with its gentle and light flavor.

It comes in a flexible powdered form plus it has a gentle lime-like taste with a high-quality powder. You can get REIZE for only around $1 and you can even have your orders delivered to your home! That’s amazing value for your money.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Glytch gets 7 out of 10 from me. I’m fond of powdered energy drinks for their flexibility. But more than that, like you, I’m also after its effects and the benefits it can give your eyes.

While I’m not used to energy drinks with caffeine over 100mg, Glytch could be an occasional drink I could go to. It has a wide range of flavors, plus it’s also pretty affordable.

It’s not bad as an energy drink, but you should never go over one serving of this beverage per day. Otherwise, you may experience some side effects related to caffeine overdose.
