GG Gamer Supps Review (Is it Good?)

GG Gamer Supps Review (Is it Good?)

GG Gamer Supps is a powdered energy drink that you can purchase in tubs or individual sachets. If you’re an avid gamer, you might have heard about the brand’s dedication to improving players’ concentration and reflexes.

This is because the energy drink contains organic caffeine, L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, CoQ10, and other micronutrients designed to get you through exciting and grueling sessions.

I tried out GG and in my opinion, the drink’s wide flavor range, nutrients, and caffeine content are all strong points for the brand. Plus, the taste really is appealing.

Read on for a more detailed review of GG’s qualities and see for yourself if it’s the next drink you’ll try out.

Let’s take a deep dive!

GG Ingredients

As I have witnessed, GG Gamer Supps has lots of vitamins and minerals that aim to power your body. Its ingredients include:

  • Organic Caffeine
  • L-Theanine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Choline L-Bitrate
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • COQ10
  • Acai Berry Extract
  • Goji Berry Extract
  • Ginseng Root Extract
  • Mangosteen Fruit Extract

It also contains electrolytes that could help you store and replace fluids that you’ve lost through sweating in the form of:

Because it’s designed specifically for gamers, I really admire how its makers incorporate ingredients that are can improve your eye health called “nootropics“:

I know all too well how getting deep into a game can make your eyes hurt. However, when I started drinking GG Gamer Supps, I did notice how this started occurring less and less. You wouldn’t want your eyesight getting blurry just when you’re about to begin a boss fight, right?

That said, you can’t see how much nootropics were used in a single sachet as it isn’t specified. However, its other ingredients are clearly stated.

Is GG Energy Good For You?

If you consume only one pack of GG Energy, it can be pretty good for you. Its 100mg of caffeine can make you alert and prepared for whichever activity you’ll be doing that day.

GG Gamer Supps effects are just the same as that of your morning coffee, just 20% stronger. You can even upgrade its products by mixing two servings per day.

However, I don’t recommend you drink over two mixes per day. It’s wiser to follow the FDA suggestion on caffeine intake per day, which should be no more than 400mg daily.

Although mixing two GG can give you only half of the limit at 200mg of caffeine, you shouldn’t take this amount lightly. This is because this amount of caffeine can be harmful to you if you’re sensitive to caffeine. Plus, it really just isn’t good to get used to high amounts of caffeine since this can lead to caffeine dependency and overdose.

Taking more than the recommended limit can lead to these side effects:

  • Restlessness
  • Shakiness
  • Insomnia
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Abnormal heart rhythm
  • Dehydration
  • Anxiety
  • Caffeine Dependency

What is GG Energy For?

GG Gamer Supps is created for fast reflexes and long-lasting energy. But, did you know that GG Energy drink is also pretty convenient and affordable? A single tub of GG Energy comes with 100 servings which means one serving can only cost around $0.35.

While it’s a good source of energy, it’s good for your pocket too! Watch this video to know the best time to ingest it and how effective it can be.

Is Gamer Supps Safe?

If you’re healthy and do not excessively consume, GG Energy drink should be safe for you. On the other hand, if you’re pregnant, lactating, or still a kid, then this energy drink is not for you.

But if you’re at the right age, I’ll be happy to inform you that GG Gamer Supps is calorie-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free. Because it has no sugar, you won’t worry about having sugar crashes.

However, to keep its taste as it is, GG uses artificial sweetener sucralose and ace-K. According to this study, it might cause harmful side effects if you’ll consume it regularly.

  • Diabetes
  • Increased risk of bowel syndrome
  • Weight gain
  • Increased blood glucose and insulin levels
  • Depression
  • A decline in cognitive capacity
  • Premature Birth

On a positive note, artificial sweeteners are FDA-approved for general use. It won’t cause additional weight gain and would not increase your insulin levels.

How Does It Taste?

While GG Energy drink doesn’t have any sugar, its artificial sweeteners definitely work. Most of GG’s flavors are a bit sweet, and here are some who enchanted my taste buds.

First off, GG doesn’t have a chalky texture. The powder easily mixes with water and the coloring isn’t too artificial-looking as well.

Among my favorites are Dragonfruit Punch and Watermelon Ice. They’re both a little sweet, but if you add a little water just like what I do, you’ll get a pretty good result. While these were the best out of all GG flavors I tried, I do feel like the sweetness overwhelms the flavors and they don’t really distinguish themselves enough.

On the other hand, Mango Meta has a sour aftertaste that I did not expect at all. I couldn’t even finish the glass, just not very enjoyable for me.

Waify Candy tastes like cotton candy with a hint of milk. You’ll love this if you’re a milk tea lover. The creaminess of it is surprising since I don’t really encounter many energy drink flavors like that.

Would you drink it up to the last sip?

My least favorites are Blue Razz and Mango Nectar. They both just taste okay, but they’re not the type you’ll try repeatedly.

If you want to spot the full list of GG Flavors, check out this list below. These flavors are available in 160g tubs, making you up to 100 servings.

  • Dragonfruit Punch
  • Acai Blueberry
  • Guacamole
  • Pineapple Cocktail
  • Waifu Candy
  • Misfits Melon
  • Mango Meta
  • Citrus Lemonade
  • Blue Razz

On the other hand, there are flavors available for 70g tub, making up to 60 servings.

  • Dragonfruit Punch
  • Sour Apple
  • Watermelon Ice
  • Acai Blueberry
  • Lemon Limeade
  • Strawberry Bust

As you can see, not all that’s available in 100g is available to buy at 70g. I suggest you copy this list for reference the next time you go to the market. This will help you keep note of the flavors that are only available on bigger or smaller tubs.

Where Can You Buy GG Energy?

If you buy a tub of GG, you’ll automatically get the two-serving sachet. However, if you want to try its taste before buying a tub, you can acquire free samples from their website and only pay for the shipping fee.

However, some people sell individual sachets on Amazon or eBay. But most convenience stores commonly have tubs of GG.

Alternative Energy Drinks

If GG Gamer Supps didn’t catch your attention, perhaps one of these will. It would be best if you try my favorite, REIZE. I can assure you that even though it’s not entirely designed for gamers, it’ll do its best to give you energy and improve your concentration.

Like GG Gamer Supps, X-Gamer comes in a fun sachet for gamers. If GG boasts about its nootropics, this one proudly claims it can sharpen your focus.

Because it contains 200mg of caffeine, you can use it as an effective workout supplement. It has lots of delicious flavors. Mega Mango and Sour Cherry Twist are my favorites.

You can choose from its 20 flavors packed with B Vitamins. You can buy a tub that makes 60 servings for only $24. That’s way cheaper than GG. For more information about how it tastes, you can check my separate article on this link.

MIXT is also a sugar-free energy drink. Like GG, it doesn’t contain any calories, and its main nutrients are also B Vitamins.

Its caffeine amount is higher than GG Gamer’s, which is 165mg per tub. Plus, it’s also gluten-free. It has nine other flavors, all of which are available on Amazon, which can cost up to $30 with the shipping fee excluded.

A single tub can also give you 60 servings which means that a scoop is only priced at $0.50. Not bad!

REIZE (Top Pick)

This is a powdered energy drink that you can enjoy, whether hot or cold. You can get B vitamins, taurine, ginseng, and inositol in just 4g powdered sachet of REIZE.

Not only that, it tastes deliciously sour with a bit of hint of sweetness and is sure to satisfy your tastebuds. This makes it enjoyable to drink!

You can get REIZE for only around $1 and you even have the option of having it delivered straight to your door.

Other Notable Mentions

Overall, I’d give GG Energy a 7/10 rating. Its flavors are all sweet and its caffeine content is powerful, and it’s not that pricey. I like the way you can try the free samples to help you decide on what to buy for sure.

It’s also loaded with some great micronutrients designed for gamers’ needs and it’s sugar, calorie, and gluten-free too! So if you have a specific diet or condition, GG Gamer Supps is still a suitable drink for you.

The powder form allows me to customize the right amount of energy drink for me. Sometimes I’d even just use half a serving and the glass would still be great.

However, like with any caffeinated drink, be careful of your consumption and make sure you stay within 1-2 servings a day only!
