FITAID is a great-tasting beverage that can help you with your training. Just the fact that it can help you recover for another round is convincing enough. All because it has just the right amount of caffeine, taurine, and B-Vitamins.
This beverage is branded as a post-recovery drink made by LIFEAID, but you may also consume it before a workout. It has ingredients that ready your muscle for activity and cures muscle soreness as well.
In this post, I’ll share with you everything I know about FITAID, and how this is an amazing post-workout beverage.

Is FITAID an Energy Drink?
No, it’s not. Although it can fuel your body with energy because of its ingredients, it’s more a drink for better recovery. FITAID is also known as a health supplement because of this factor.
However, I can say its results are not that far from those of energy drinks. You can also use FITAID if you want to improve your focus and productivity.
FITAID Flavors
Here are two flavors of FITAID that caught much of my attention:
FITAID Citrus Medley

This flavor did not seem good to me. Personally, I’m a fan of lemon and citrus-like beverages because they have a refreshing and enjoyable taste.
However, this one is different. It tastes like Berocca with a hint of medicine. I don’t know for you, but it reminded me of the medication I took last time I had a fever.
I actually wonder where its 9g of sugar goes. Most beverages I’ve tasted that have sugar tasted pretty good. So, FITAID Meledy Citrus is a first for me.
FITAID Recovery Blend
I would go with this one over the Citrus Medley Flavor. Taste-wise it tastes like a grapefruit with a little Red Bull.
It’s not that bad. But, I think Celsius, Bang, and Red Bull itself are all tastier.
Just like the “Citrus Medley” flavor, it contains all of the same ingredients that you would find in most energy drinks on promotion. The common difference is a slight of other elements in mostly tiny quantities.
It also contains its “creatine + glutamine + BCAAs”. However, there aren’t any amounts of these ingredients specified, which makes me skeptical about the amount.

I cannot say if there’s a high amount of these ingredients, but there are instances wherein a brand does not disclose even a high amount.
To give LIFEAID the benefit of the doubt, I don’t think they would do the same practice. They’re pretty trusted by their fans, garnering over 100 million sold worldwide with just FITAID alone!
How Much Creatine is in FITAID?
The amount of creatine in FITAID isn’t specified on the label of a can. Many energy drinks brand uses creatine between 1mg to 1848mg. There’s a high tendency that FITAID uses the same amount, but we don’t know for sure.
Creatine is useful for its ability to boost energy production, making it easier to do physically demanding tasks like lifting weights or completing strenuous exercises. Taking FITAID while exercising or riding makes perfect sense. In light of these considerations, I could try FITAID instead of my usual energy drink.
Sugar Content of FITAID
Both FITAID Melody Citrus and FITAID Recover have 9g of sugar. It’s a good amount to have as it’s not even half of the daily sugar limit.
According to this article, the safe amount of daily sugar intake is only 24g for moderately active females and 36g for males. I suggest you carefully watch your sugar consumption on the products you’ll have for a day to avoid effects such as the following:
- Headaches
- Irritability
- Fatigue
- Difficulty on focusing
- Feeling jittery or anxious
- Feeling shaky or dizzy
- Hunger
- Bloating
How Much Caffeine is in Fitaid Recovery?
FITAID has 45 mg of natural caffeine. According to this article, regular coffee contains 80-100mg of caffeine. This amount is quite low compared to the daily limit by the FDA, which is at 400mg.
Don’t belittle its 45mg of caffeine because it’s sourced naturally. FITAID is a good option if you want to have a lesser chance of having a caffeine overdose. Going over 400mg of caffeine can result in the following:
- Restlessness
- shakiness
- Insomnia
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Abnormal heart rhythm
- Dehydration
- Anxiety
- Caffeine Dependency
Is FITAID Suitable for Recovery?
Yes, the FITAID Recovery will provide what exactly it’s named for. It will help your body recover after intense physical activity with the help of its nutrients.
As part of its Recovery blend, BCAAs may help to shorten your recovery time after an enormous workout. In the same way, it can give your body the tools it needs to build muscle.
This group of elements is essential to FITAID because it is designed for post-exercise use. It can also help cure soreness and tensions in your muscles.
Just like BCAA, L-Glutamine can also aid muscle soreness. All of its recovery blends really help each other in keeping your muscle relaxed and healthy.
Can You Drink FITAID Before a Workout?
Yes, you can! The most common ingredients of pre-workout drinks are creatine, caffeine, and BCCA. You can find all three ingredients in FITAID!
That’s why I think FITAID can be a great option if you’re looking for something to drink before your workouts.
This video will provide you with a first-hand look at using FITAID:
Can Children and Pregnant Women Drink FITAID?
FITAID is not recommended for children under 12. It’s also prohibited for pregnant or lactating mothers. But if you’re having cravings on FITAID during your pregnancy, contact your doctor first before drinking it.
There are ingredients in FITAID that may affect your baby’s growth negatively. Both your safety is important than your workout or your cravings.
They also put this warning on their label. If you happen to buy FITAID in Australia and the label seems to be glued, don’t worry. It isn’t fake.
This is just a protocol in Australia. Unlike in the US, you can see it straight in the can. Nevertheless, they’re just the same.
Energy Drink Alternatives to FITAID
Here are some other energy drinks for you to try:
Red Bull
As I have mentioned, it tastes like Red Bull. But as for the contents, they don’t have any resemblance that much.
Red Bull will give you 80mg of caffeine. This is around the double of FITAID. On the other hand, it’s much delicious brought by its 27g of sugar. But I’m not saying all it takes is just lots of sugar for a product to be palatable.
However, you shouldn’t consume more than one can of Red Bull per day. Otherwise, it might make you experience a sugar crash.
X-Gamer
If you’re planning to have a workout but have an online tournament later, you can have X-Gamer. As its name suggests, this one is made for gamers but is also helpful with exercise.
It is sugar-free, with 200mg of caffeine. While you don’t have an opportunity of overdosing on sugar, you’ll probably overdose with its amount of caffeine. Therefore, make sure you only take one mix of X-Gamer for a day.
REIZE
REIZE energy drink is a tasty and enjoyable drink that you can take anywhere. You can use it if you’re preparing for an exam, during your jog, or right after!
The drink contains 50mg of caffeine, which for me is just the right amount to give me a solid energy boost without risking side effects.
I also really just prefer REIZE’s delicious fizzy flavor better than FITAID’s. It’s also more convenient since it comes it in a handy 4g sachet that can fit into your pocket.
It also has various ingredients like taurine and B vitamins. Plus, it’s sugar-free and low-calorie.
You can get REIZE for just around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped straight to your home.

Other Notable Mentions
Conclusion
To sum it up, FITAID is a stunning and practical post-workout drink that can help you regain your energy back. On another note, it’s also a helpful pre-workout product!
You can definitely feel the effects of its BCAAs, and it’s not just written on the label. Even if I find the Citrus Medley Flavor awkward, it’ll probably have good effects on your body. And maybe you’ll like its taste as well, unlike me.
In my opinion, you should definitely try the Recovery blend. It gave me a nice boost after my workouts. But for a more wise choice, you can try my favorite, REIZE.
