Is Celsius Better Than Coffee?

In my opinion, it would depend on your needs.

You can go with coffee if you prefer a more natural way of getting energy. On the other hand, if you want to get worked up, you should go with Celsius On-the-Go. Apart from caffeine, you can get other vitamins too.

For a quick comparison, there’s 80–100 mg of caffeine in your regular coffee. At the same time, Celsius On-The-Go has 200mg. It’s evident that the amount of caffeine is relatively high with Celsius On-the-Go.

If you’re torn between coffee or Celsius On-The-Go, this video might help you decide.

In What Ways Might Celsius Make Me Sick?

The caffeine in this powdered energy drink comes from guarana extract, amounting to 200mg. If you consume too many packs of Celsius On-the-Go in a day, you may experience side effects.

Most energy drinks contain between 80 and 150 mg of caffeine per serving. I prefer my energy drinks to have between 50 and 100 milligrams of caffeine per can or sachet. I think that’s just the right amount to power me through the day without putting me in harm’s way.

Based on the current average, 200mg of caffeine appears to be quite a lot. However, it is only half of the FDA’s recommended daily dosage, which is 400mg. If you drink more than a sachet you likely experience some of the following:

  • Headaches
  • Stomachaches
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Dizziness
  • Dehydration

How Much Sugar is in Celsius On-The-Go?

As stated on its label, Celsius On-The-Go is sugar-free! Although they still use artificial sweeteners and sugar alcohol to maintain their sweetness.

Sucralose and erythritol make Celsius On-The-Go taste sweet and tasty. Despite being artificial, both of them are approved by the FDA, so you don’t need to worry much. Plus, they don’t carry extra calories!

For additional information, AHA recommends men should only consume 9 teaspoons of sugar per day, which is equivalent to 36g (150 calories). On the other hand, women should limit themselves to 6 teaspoons of sugar per day.

Going past this amount can cause you sugar crash symptoms like:

  • Hunger
  • Irritability
  • Fatigue
  • Discomfort

How Many Calories Are There In Celsius On-The-Go?

It only has 10 calories!

According to this tip, you only need to run 5 mph, climb stairs, or try a Zumba class in a minute, and 10 calories are gone.

If you want to cut your weight, this energy drink is perfect for you. You can enjoy Celsius On-The-Go without having to think of unburned calories after your workout.

Study shows that products with low calorie are safe for an obese diabetic. The researchers also claim that the use of a very low-calorie diet has long-term benefits.

If you want to know more about calories, you can read this article next. There’s also a listing of energy drinks included there.

Is It OK to Consume Celsius On-the-Go When You’re Hungry?

No. I don’t recommend taking your energy drinks on an empty stomach. Besides, Celsus-On-The-Go is not intended to be a meal replacement.

If you take any energy drinks when you’re hungry, your hydrochloric acid production may suffer. This will have a detrimental impact on your body’s reaction and metabolism when you eventually eat your meal.

Heartburn, irritated gut, and stomach lining damage are some of the symptoms you may experience.

Are Celsius FDA-approved?

Yes, Celsius is FDA-approved. Additionally, it is FDA-compliant, FDA-registered, and FDA-certified.

Celsius also has a kosher certificate. Although it is not entirely organic, the product is non-GMO, sugar-free, and vegan. This is also gluten-free.
