Can You Drink BAYA Every Day? (Truth)

Can You Drink BAYA Every Day? (Truth)

Drinking one can of BAYA Energy Drink per day may not be harmful to a healthy person, but doing so repeatedly over an extended period of time may not be wise.

BAYA Energy Drink is the brand of energy drink that Starbucks has just introduced.

As a “refreshing, fruit-flavored jolt of feel-good energy, delivered in a way that only Starbucks can give,” Starbucks introduced the Baya Energy drink.

It contains the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, so you can drink it every day without worrying about any negative side effects. A study found that women who regularly drank a moderate amount of caffeine had a lower risk of developing heart disease.

The sugar content, on the other hand, is a different matter. As previously mentioned, 22 grams of sugar is a lot of sugar, so even if a can has a moderate amount of caffeine, try to keep your intake to one can per day.

Fruit Extract

Fruits
Fruit extracts are rich in antioxidants.

Fruit extracts are hugely popular among producers of natural cosmetics and beverages because they are praised for their potent anti-aging and rejuvenating properties.

Let’s have a look at the fruit extracts present in Baya energy, alongside their functions.

Fruit ExtractsFunction
White Grape Juice from ConcentrateIt is well known for lowering blood pressure, improving blood flow, treating blood clotting, and lowering the risk of heart-related issues like atherosclerosis.
Lemon Juice from ConcentrateIt is a great substitute for sugar- and sweetener-sweetened beverages because the citrus flavor frequently eliminates the need for sweeteners. Additionally, it is a great source of vitamin C and antioxidants
Raspberry from ConcentrateFor candies, frozen novelties, fruit snacks, jams, jellies, sauces, and beverages, it works great as a color and flavor enhancer.
Lime Juice from ConcentrateIt is used to give soft drinks, and other fruit beverages a fresh, zesty, and sour flavor.

Green Coffee Extract

Unroasted coffee beans are known as green beans. Although coffee beans are green by nature, roasting turns them brown.

According to some studies, green coffee bean extract may also have health advantages, such as lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. This idea is supported by the unroasted beans’ anti-oxidant qualities and other pharmacologically potent compounds.

Additionally, the extract contains chlorogenic acids, a class of antioxidant substances thought to be responsible for the extract’s potential health benefits.

Other benefits include:

  1. Weight loss
  2. Prevent type 2 diabetes
  3. Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects

Cane Sugar

In contrast to sugar products made from sugar beets or a combination of cane and beet, cane sugar is a category of sugar that is made exclusively from sugar cane.

The breakdown of sugars produces a simple sugar called “glucose,” which is the body’s main energy source. Sugars are typically found in grains, dairy products, and fruits.

However, your body processes cane sugar in the same way it does all other types of sugar. It separates them both into fructose and glucose, two simple sugars.

Other functions of cane sugar are:

  1. Store energy as healthy fats
  2. Maintain a good mood

Calories

Calories
Calories can be good and bad for health.

Each can of BAYA Energy has 90 calories.

Calories are the units of energy that are released by your body during the digestion and absorption of food. The amount of energy a food can give your body depends on how many calories it contains.

Men should generally consume 2,500 calories per day, while women should aim for 2,000.

You can consume BAYA Energy without being concerned that you’re consuming too many calories because it has a reasonable calorie count.

I really appreciate how it actually gave me energy and made it possible for me to eat more calories.

Vitamin C

L-ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C, is a water-soluble vitamin that can be added to other foods, taken as a supplement, or found naturally in some foods.

Inadequate immune defense, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease, and even skin aging may be defended against by it.

For adults, 2000 mg per day is the tolerable upper intake level (the maximum amount you can consume without harming yourself).

Caffeine Content In BAYA Energy Drink

Coffee Beans
Coffee Beans are sourced the most from Brazil.

Caffeine, which is present in Baya Energy Drink in the amount of 160 mg, is “naturally” present in coffee plant fruit.

Both natural and artificial caffeine have similar effects on your body. Natural caffeine-containing energy drinks are healthier because they also contain antioxidants.

However, you can only benefit from Baya’s naturally occurring caffeine if you use it sparingly. Consuming excessive amounts of Baya in one day can disrupt your caffeine intake and result in unpleasant side effects from caffeine overdose.

The FDA has stated that for healthy adults, 400mg per day—roughly four or five cups of coffee—is a level that is not typically linked to harmful, adverse effects which are:

  1. Anxiety
  2. Insomnia
  3. Depression
  4. Acne
  5. Dehydration
  6. Headache
  7. Rapid heartbeat

How Much Sugar Is Present In BAYA?

There are 22g of sugar in each can of BAYA Energy (produced from cane).

Sugar gives the beverage vitality in addition to flavor. I don’t like sugar in my food or drinks, but I can’t ignore the extra energy it can provide.

In the processed food industry, sugars are frequently used to add flavor, color, bulk, and thickness to meals. Health professionals advise adults to keep their daily sugar intake to a maximum of 37 grams for men and 25 grams for women.

On the other hand, BAYA Energy contains a whopping 22g of sugar, which is a lot, and regularly consuming too much sugar can result in a number of health problems, including fat organs, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Is BAYA Bad For You?

With the exception of added sugar, Baya’s ingredients are healthy.

Since I don’t want a midday sugar crash, I always choose energy drinks with very little sugar or no sugar at all.

For an energy drink with a good amount of caffeine to drink occasionally, Baya has a fantastic ingredient combination. But if you consume it in excess, it could be harmful to you.

Energy drinks are designed to give you the boost you need occasionally when you really need it. However, incorporating them into your daily routine may have a negative effect on your health.

Although Baya contains a respectable amount of caffeine, excessive consumption can lead to heart issues, kidney stones, mood swings, etc.

At higher doses, caffeine can be dangerous and also result in headaches, chest pain, and anxiety. It can cause irregular heartbeats and, in extreme cases, death when taken in extremely high dosages.

Can You Drink BAYA Every Day?

As long as you only consume one can per day, it’s acceptable to consume BAYA Energy every day.

It contains the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, so you can drink it every day without worrying about any negative side effects. A study found that women who regularly drank a moderate amount of caffeine had a lower risk of developing heart disease.

The sugar content, on the other hand, is a different matter. As previously mentioned, 22g of sugar is a lot of sugar, so even if a can has a moderate amount of caffeine, try to keep your intake to one can per day.

How Many Cans Of BAYA Can You Drink In A Day?

One or two cans of Baya energy drink can be consumed each day. However, given that it contains 23g of sugar, I would advise you to consume no more than one can per day and abstain from all other caffeinated drinks to avoid getting jittery.

It is unlikely that consuming one energy drink occasionally will have any negative effects.

If you consume too much Baya, your blood sugar will soar because there are only 23 grams of sugar and no fibre or protein to control it.

After using it, you might feel productive (although jittery) for 30 or 60 minutes, but you’ll crash.

Additionally, to avoid any health risks if you already drank one or two cups of coffee earlier in the day, stay away from any type of energy drink.

In addition, REIZE contains a number of beneficial ingredients, such as taurine, ginseng, and B vitamins.

Conclusion

  • The current line of caffeinated drinks offered by Starbucks now includes Baya Energy Drink. Between Celsius and Redbull/Monster, Baya Energy Drink occupies a middle position.
  • Like these energy drinks, Baya should also only be sipped on occasion. Although the ingredient list is fairly sound, I find the added sugar to be a major turn-off. Other than that, it tastes good and has a decent energy drink feel to it.
  • You’ll feel energized thanks to the naturally occurring caffeine and sugar in BAYA Energy. The key electrolytes (calcium, sodium, and potassium) in these energy drinks help you stay hydrated when you need it most.
  • Try REIZE, which has only 11 calories and 50g of caffeine, as well as a tasty lime flavor, if you’re looking for something low in calories and caffeine.
