Caffeine does improve mental performance, leading you to understand and process data better.
Since caffeine can prevent the symptoms of fatigue and drowsiness, you become more alert, allowing your brain to function better without sleep interfering with your thought process.
A 2016 study reported that low to moderate doses of caffeine improved cognitive functions like attention, alertness, vigilance, and reaction time.
So, if you feel like you’re stuck when you’re programming, have an energy drink and you’ll find that it’s easier to focus and go on with your work.
