Bang Energy Shots Caffeine Content
There’s 300mg of caffeine in each 3 fl.oz bottle of Bang Energy Shots, which is quite a hefty amount even if you have a high caffeine tolerance.
Bang Energy Shots are described by its company as ‘a can of Bang Energy drink in a tiny bottle’.
Bang Energy is one of the strongest energy drinks on the market, with a lot more caffeine than most energy drinks.
Besides, since it comes in a smaller package and has less liquid volume than a regular energy drink, it would mean that you’ll feel the effects of the caffeine in Bang Energy Shots rather suddenly since you’ll be drinking it very quickly.
Even if you have a fast caffeine metabolism and regularly consume caffeinated beverages, there’s a big difference between having 300mg in half an hour and having 300mg in mere seconds.
So, if you want to have Bang Energy Shots, just be aware of what you’re getting yourself into, particularly if you’re just starting out with energy drinks.
The most important thing to remember when dealing with caffeine is to not go overboard and consume it in excess.
The FDA recommends a daily caffeine intake limit of no more than 400mg for healthy adults.
- Restlessness and shakiness
That said, your caffeine metabolism plays a major role in the severity of the side effects you experience. So as long as you have Bang Energy Shots in moderation, you’ll likely avoid running the risk of experiencing these negative effects.
Do Bang Energy Shots Contain Any Sugar?
Bang Energy Shots don’t contain any sugar and are sugar-free, however, they do contain sucralose, which is an artificial sweetener as a sugar substitute.
Since Bang Energy Shots are sugar-free, it won’t affect your daily sugar intake or overall diet, which is a good thing since most energy drinks contain lots of sugar.
Plus, with Bang Energy Shots, you don’t have to worry about a sugar crash as there aren’t any ingredients in it that will raise your blood sugar levels.
As for the sucralose in Bang Shots, it’s commonly found in energy drinks mainly to counter the bitterness of the caffeine and to make the drink taste good.
Sucralose is a zero-calorie sweetener, hence it won’t have much of an impact on your diet. Of course, even though the FDA approves them, there’s still a lot that we don’t know about artificial sweeteners, so it’s best to have them in moderation.
The BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) that can be found in Bang Energy Shots are L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine.
These amino acids are often taken in supplement form as they help to increase muscle growth and improve exercise performance. BCAAs are also considered essential amino acids because they can only be obtained through your diet.
When taken as supplements, BCAAs have the following benefits:
- Decreasing symptoms of fatigue during exercise
- Reduce muscle soreness
- Boost weight loss
- Increase muscle mass
- Lower blood sugar levels
Though, in the case of Bang Energy Shots, it’s difficult to know if the BCAAs will have any real effect on exercise performance as the precise amount included in the ingredients isn’t stated on the label.
Coenzyme Q10 is essentially an antioxidant your body naturally produces. Coenzyme Q10 is important for your growth and also helps maintain your health.
Aside from lowering cholesterol levels in people with diabetes and improving heart health, Coenzyme Q10 is believed to help enhance exercise performance, although most of the results on this matter are still inconclusive.
Do Bang Energy Shots Actually Work?
From my experience, Bang Energy Shots certainly work, in fact maybe they work a little too well. Bang Energy Shots give you an enormous boost to help you stay alert for a few extra hours, but it may be too much for you if you don’t have the tolerance for so much caffeine.
Within 30 minutes of having a bottle of Bang Energy Shots, you’ll feel increased alertness, focus, and you’ll have extra endurance that could last somewhere between 2 hours to 6 hours depending on your caffeine metabolism.
However, if your tolerance to caffeine isn’t very high, you might have to brace yourself for some unpleasant adverse effects like jitters, shakiness, and headaches that come together with that powerful boost.
My advice is to only have Bang Energy Shots when you really need them. Also, I recommend only drinking Bang Energy Shots if you know you can handle 300mg of caffeine in a short period of time.
All in all, Bang Energy Shots can provide you with a quick, potent and long-lasting energy boost when you need a lift, though you may need to be prepared for the side effects that may come together with the high caffeine content.

What Do Bang Energy Shots Taste Like?
The flavor of Bang Energy Shots that I managed to get my hands on was Bangster Berry.
The taste is pretty sweet though it has a slightly bitter, medicine-like aftertaste. It’s also quite fizzy so that sort of helped to make the taste more tolerable.
In my opinion, it isn’t the most enjoyable experience, but the good part is that there’s not a large volume in a Bang Shot, so one quick gulp down the throat followed by a glass of water was enough to wash away most of the unpleasant lingering taste.
Of course, this is just my personal opinion and you might have a different experience with it based on your own tastes. Plus, I’ve only tried one flavor of Bang Energy Shots so the other flavors might taste better than this one.

Bang Energy Shots Price
Based on my search on Amazon, the price for a 12-pack of 3 fl.oz bottles of Bang Energy Shots is about $30. Therefore, the cost for one 3 fl.oz bottle of Bang Energy Shot is about $2.50, excluding shipping of course.
Considering that a 16 fl.oz can of Bang Energy Drink also costs around $2.50 and a regular can of Monster is around $2 too, the price of Bang Energy shots is fairly reasonable. Though one might argue that it’s a touch expensive given that it comes in a tiny little bottle.
In my opinion, Bang Energy Shots won’t break the bank, but it will become costly if you’re drinking Bang Energy shots on a daily basis. Overall, it comes down to your budget for energy drinks, and whether or not you decide Bang shots are worth the money.
Bang Energy Shots Review (7/10)
Overall, I would give Bang Energy Shots a solid 7 out of 10. Bang Shots certainly deliver a powerful energy boost in a short period of time, but the high caffeine content and the taste brought it down a few points in my book.
Bang Energy Shots are best drunk when you need to get something done efficiently and quickly. Bang Energy Shot is not an energy drink you can enjoy casually, especially if you’re someone who prefers taking your time while drinking energy drinks and really enjoying the experience.
Personally, I think that Bang Energy shots would be more suited for you if you have a high caffeine tolerance as it packs a strong punch that might be a little overwhelming for some people.
In my case, Bang Energy Shots left me with a few unpleasant side effects due to all that caffeine.
My preferred caffeine dose is typically between 50mg to 100mg per drink. I find more than 100mg of caffeine in a single drink to often leave me feeling flushed and unable to concentrate.
Furthermore, Bang Energy Shots don’t provide as much hydration as regular energy drinks, so if you want something to quench your thirst, you might have to look for other energy drinks with a larger volume of liquid.
Overall, I rate Bang shots a 7/10, but try them for yourself and see if they work for you.
