What Makes 28 Black Attractive?

How you look at it is important. While its chosen color, black, is pretty popular. It seems like it all comes down to the label.

Here’s why 28 Black is a great energy drink:

Natural Caffeine

It is said that natural caffeine provides longer sustained energy. Apart from that, it also has antioxidant properties that can prevent Alzheimer’s and heart disease.

Natural caffeine won’t make you feel nervous. You can get natural caffeine out of over 50 plant species. Cocoa beans, kola nuts, tea leaves, and coffee beans are some of the best natural caffeine sources.

28 Black gets its caffeine from guarana. The extracted guarana has the highest concentration of caffeine than others.

No Taurine

I prefer to have taurine in my drink. You might be considering 28 Black because you have a word to do. Taurine lowers blood pressure. This can benefit your body while working out.

Aside from this, it also supports nerve growth, your heart, and your brain. However, there are drawbacks to using taurine.

If you consume too much taurine, you may experience these side effects:

  • nausea
  • dizziness
  • headaches
  • difficulty walking

The FDA approves the use of taurine in energy-boosting beverages. However, they insisted that you keep your intake level at 15.9 mg per day to avoid the adverse effects.

But no worries! Because with 28 Black, for sure you won’t overconsume taurine because it’s taurine-free.

No Artificial Colors

Dyes are used in foods and beverages to add appeal to the product. There is a nutritional benefit you could get from artificial colors. In fact, healthy food or drink does not use artificial colors.

There is no study at present that says artificial colors are entirely bad. However, some studies found artificial colors result in hyperactivity in children with and without ADHD.

No Preservatives

Preservatives keep the shelf life of our food longer while maintaining its quality.

However, the research found that preservatives distort our hormones. As a result, it doesn’t tell us right whether we are already full or not.

In the meantime, I agree it’s pretty appealing to have a “No Preservatives” label. And I guess this is what makes 28 Black more attractive to the audience.

Gluten-Free

Having a gluten-free diet can help you boost energy and promote weight loss. It is also helpful if you have celiac disease.

This is a kind of autoimmune disease. When your digestive system has gluten, the immune system will attack your small intestine. Which results disrupts the ability to absorb vital nutrients such as iron and calcium.

Even a tiny amount of gluten can cause the same effects. More so, if you are consistently taking products with gluten.

Lactose-Free

Just like gluten, if your small intestine doesn’t break down lactose well, you might need to consume lactose-free products.

In doing this, you can save yourself from bloating, cramping, or diarrhea. You might be having this problem. I suggest you check with your doctor to confirm if you need to switch to a lactose-free or low-lactose diet.

But to sum it up, 28 Black being lactose-free makes you safer as it helps absorb calcium that builds and maintains strong bones.

Out of everything that I mentioned, I think this is what makes 28 Black good. It’s good to know that it helps you with your energy while caring about your bones’ health.

Can I Have 28 Black Every Day?

Well, yes. Considering its low caffeine amount, I think there’s no problem drinking 28 Black every day.

That said, you should remember your caffeine tolerance and keep an eye on the amount you consume.

If you’re looking for a more detailed review, here’s a video review for 28 Black on the energy drink’s taste, packaging, and overall quality:

Where Can I Buy 28 Black?

28 Black is not that hard to find. In fact, it is available in convenience stores worldwide so that you won’t have a hard time looking.

Its price for 250ml is around $1 to $2. You can get it on Amazon. They have a bundle that contains 24 cans, and you can have it for only $33.

What Does 28 Black Taste Like?

Before we go to the taste, I’d like to discuss my say on its looks first.

The minimalist packaging is quite intriguing, although the bird on its logo suggests that it will give you the lift you need for the way.

Upon opening, it smells a bit like a berry, and it tastes just like it. I don’t know if it came directly from the Acai berry or all the ingredients mixed together just produced the outcome.

Taste-wise, it has no nasty after-effects and no salty feeling or whatsoever. The sweetness is just the right amount, and there’s no sour or salty aftertaste after a few sips. Some other drinks have that, but 28 Black does not.

Their original variant and sugar-free version both taste the same. So whatever you prefer, expect to have the same great taste.

28 Black Flavors

While 28 Black has a variety of different flavors, the main ingredient remains the same—acai berry.

28 Black only has 5 unique flavors up to this date. But who knows? Maybe they’ll have 28 Black Flavors in the future.

  • 28 BLACK Acai
  • 28 BLACK Sour Mango-Kiwi
  • 28 BLACK Sour Cherry
  • 28 BLACK Pink Grapefruit-Mint
  • 28 BLACK Classic

By the way, all of this comes in an 8.56 fl oz can, and all contain Acai Berry, which is their main ingredient.

Alternative Energy Drinks

HYPE

If you want an isotonic drink that will definitely help your hydration you can go with Hype

This energy drink has B-Vitamins as its ingredient. However, unlike 28 Black, it is not sugar-free. It has 28g of sugar and 80mg of caffeine.

Its price is quite similar to 28 Black. For only about $2 to $3 you can have 8 fl. oz of Hype. It is offered in 7 flavors, a few more than 28 Black.

DUFF

Duff energy drinks taste a lot like oranges because of its citrusy taste.

It has 120mg of caffeine per 12 fl oz and contains citric acid, fructose corn syrup, and other nutritious ingredients.

You can also find Duff Energy Drink from any convenience store near you. And it is also available on Amazon and Target.

REIZE (10 out of 10)

This powdered energy drink is my ultimate favorite. It has only 50mg of caffeine, and just like 28 Black, it is also sugar-free and has lots of vitamins. Other than these, REIZE contains ginseng and taurine, which further enhance your mental and physical performance.

Aside from that, I like the fact that it is super handy. You can bring it anywhere you like to drink it. It’s amazingly delicious too!

Another great thing is that you can get REIZE for only around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped directly to your door!

Other Notable Mentions

Final Verdict

While its design is not that attractive, it’s very honest with its labels and nutrition. 28 Black is recognized and patronaged for these reasons. And of course, its solid energy boost is a great factor too.

Since it lacks artificial colors and preservatives, I think that 28 Black is a fantastic choice for those who want to get what they need without putting themselves at danger. It has a unique taste that I’m sure many others will like.

Just like other energy drinks, too many cans of 28 Black can negatively affect your health. So, only take 28 Black when you should and limit yourself to two to three cans per day.
